The real story that Congress, the FBI and all others should be looking into is the leaking of Classified information. Must find leaker now!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 20, 2017
During an interview with NBC earlier this month, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper did tell Chuck Todd there was “no evidence” of such collusion. During the campaign, however, candidate Trump publicly asked Russia to hack into the emails of his Hillary Clinton. The tweet is likely an attempt to get out in front of any future Russia investigation by Congress and today’s testimony of James Comey. The FBI director is expected to address allegations that his department wiretapped Trump Tower during the 2016 campaign.
The Democrats made up and pushed the Russian story as an excuse for running a terrible campaign. Big advantage in Electoral College & lost! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 20, 2017
