‘This Was a Hit’: Bill O’Reilly Vows to ‘Explain’ What Happened at Fox, Talks Taking ‘Legal Action’

Today, Bill O’Reilly gave his first interview since being ousted from Fox News over all of those allegations of sexual harassment against him. In conversation with Glenn Beck on The Blaze‘s radio program, O’Reilly said this of all of the women who came forward with accusations and all of the advertisers who left O’Reilly’s program as a result:
This was a hit. In the weeks to come, we’re gonna be able to explain some of it. It has to do with destroying voices that the far left and the organized left-wing cabal doesn’t like. That’s the general tone. I can’t get specific. There’s a lot of legality here.

He insisted that he would reveal very “soon” who had targeted him and worked to remove him from the air by going after his advertisers. (Groups like Sleeping Giants and Color of Change are already publicly taking credit for it.) hinted that he may even take legal action. “It’s coming,” he said ominously. “Unfortunately, I was target number one. It’s sad. It’s sad for me. It’s sad for my family. It’s grossly dishonest. I did what I thought I had to do to protect my family. Those days are over. From now on when I’m attacked, I’m going to take action, mostly legal action.” That was as much as he’d say, especially about his family. Listen above. [image: screengrab] Lindsey: Twitter.
