WATCH: President Trump Holds Press Conference With Colombian President Santos LIVE STREAM

President Donald Trump is meeting with Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos today, and they will hold a joint press conference from the White House. Trump and Santos are reportedly meeting to discuss policies on the drug trade, and this comes a day before Trump begins his first trip abroad as America’s president. The press conference comes as the Trump Administration continues to exist in a state of turmoil due to the investigations of their potential connections to Russian efforts to interfere with the 2016 election. The White House has weathered a firestorm of controversy ever since Trump fired FBI director James Comey last week. Since then, Trump has taken heat for sharing classified information with the Russian government, and a memo Comey wrote about how the president asked him to stop a federal investigation. All of this came to a head last night when the Justice Department announced that a special would begin its own review of the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia. Trump has responded to this by blasting the inquiry as the “single greatest witch hunt” of U.S. history. Today’s press conference is also of note due to indications that Press Secretary Sean Spicer will no longer hold daily briefings once Trump returns from his trip. The presser will begin at 3:45 p.m. EST. Watch above, via The White House. [image via screengrab]
