Trump Ally Chris Ruddy: Mueller Poses ‘Existential Threat to the Trump Presidency’

Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy said this morning that Robert Mueller right now poses an “existential threat” to the Trump presidency. Ruddy, a Trump ally, said on ABC’s This Week that so far, nothing that’s come out of the Flynn guilty plea or the news about Paul Manafort and George Papadopoulos “directly relate[s] to collusion” yet. “My view is that Robert Mueller poses an existential threat to the Trump presidency,” he said. “He’s gotten four major––two convictions, two plea agreements––lightning speed.” When George Stephanopoulos brought up the reporting about how Trump’s lawyers are saying Mueller will be done soon, Ruddy said, “I don’t know what they’re smoking.” Watch above, via ABC.
