House of Cards Final Season Officially Moving Forward Without Kevin Spacey

House of Cards is moving forward with a shortened sixth and final season, without Kevin Spacey. Netflix cut all ties to Spacey after numerous allegations of sexual misconduct and sexual assault were leveled against the actor. There was some discussion of whether House of Cards would continue without him, and per Variety, it is. Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos confirmed today that production for the show is resuming in 2018 for a shortened 8-episode final season starring Robin Wright as Claire Underwood. Spacey will not only be out of the show entirely, but there was reporting weeks ago that there’s been discussion about simply just killing off his character.
