Steve Bannon to Return to SiriusXM to Co-Host Daily Three Hour Show

Steve Bannon — former chief strategist to President Donald Trump — recently said this to Fox News’s Sean Hannity:
We started a civil war — and Sean, you’ve been kind of part of this for, really, the last eight or nine years — against the Republican establishment.

Now, Bannon is returning to a prominent platform to fight it. SiriusXM announced Tuesday that Bannon will join Breitbart News Daily on the Patriot Channel — a three hour program which airs from 9 a.m. to Noon E.T. Monday through Friday. And according to the announcement, the satellite radio network is not anticipating this being a short-term agreement. SiriusXM said that Bannon will lead not only mid-term election coverage on the channel, but 2020 Presidential campaign coverage. For Bannon, the move represents a return to the program which launched in late 2015. He departed the show in Aug. 2016 to chief executive of the Trump campaign — but continued to occasionally call in during that time. “As I have said all along, everything I brought to the Trump campaign came directly from the listeners I spoke with every morning on Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM’s Patriot channel,” Bannon said in a press release. “From the moment I left the White House, getting back behind the microphone was very important to me. To get on the road outside the Beltway and to spend time with the great men and women of America is an honor.” SiriusXM said that Bannon is slated join Breitbart News Daily effective immediately.
