Hannity: Robert Mueller Is a ‘Disgrace to the American Justice System’

On Tuesday night, Sean Hannity held nothing back against Special Counsel Robert Mueller and how he’s been handing the ongoing Russia investigation. With the help of several conspiracy charts, the Fox News host laid out all of the qualms he had with Mueller and his “team of so-called ‘investigators.'” “Let’s start off with the head of the snake,” Hannity began. “Mueller’s credibility is in the gutter tonight with these new discoveries, his conflicts of interests, his clear bias, the corruption are on full display. Mueller is frankly a disgrace to the American justice system and has put the country now on the brink of becoming a banana republic.” Hannity attacked Mueller’s credibility by invoking his tight relationship with former FBI Director James Comey and for noting that he himself was in charge of the FBI when the Uranium One deal took place. He also slammed the special prosecutor appointing several Democratic donors as part of his investigative team. He then pivoted to the recent revelations regarding Mueller’s team, including Peter Strzok, who was removed from the investigation after it was discovered he had sent anti-Trump tweets during the election. But since that news broke, another report came out saying that Strzok reportedly changed the language in Comey’s exoneration statement of Hillary Clinton from “grossly negligent” to “extremely careless.” Hannity called out the FBI agent’s “hypocrisy” for reportedly conducting the interview of Gen. Michael Flynn, who has been charged for lying to the FBI, but also conducted interviews for top Clinton aides Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin, who have also reportedly lied to the FBI about their knowledge of Clinton’s server but haven’t been charged. Hannity also went after Mueller’s top deputy Andrew Weissmann for applauding former Acting AG Sally Yates for not enforcing President Trump‘s travel ban last January.
