On Thursday night, actress Melissa McCarthy took the opportunity while guest-hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live to address a serious issue facing our planet. “As you know, there’s been a lot of talk these days about the environment, our changing climate, and global warming,” McCarthy began. “Some people say it’s real. And then the smart people know it’s a ruse invented by the illuminati.” She told her audience that there was an “even bigger” issue that has gone “un-debunked” for hundreds of years. McCarthy then presented a public service announcement that “might just save your life.” “I’d like to talk to you about a subject the mainstream media doesn’t want you to hear about,” McCarthy in the PSA said. “They say we shouldn’t ask questions. They say it’s settled science. They call people who disagree with them ‘deniers.’ Of course, I’m talking about… gravity.” She mocked the “so-called” of gravitivity because it came from “the guy with the cookies” Isaac Newton. “Every day, millions of schoolchildren are brainwashed into believing that they cannot fly!” McCarthy exclaimed. She was then interrupted by a highly-skeptical Jennifer Aniston. “Who told you that gravity is real?” McCarthy asked. “Pretty much every scientist in the world told me that,” Aniston responded. “Every single one?!?” McCarthy shot back. “Isn’t that a little fishy?!?” Things escalated quickly between McCarthy and Aniston when they got into a physical altercation, which ended up being a ploy for McCarthy to throw a harness on Aniston. McCarthy concluded that “what goes up… will stay there.” Watch the clip above, via ABC.
