S.E. Cupp Eviscerates Ex-Obama Advisor Ben Rhodes For Wishing Death On GOP Foes: ‘Try Therapy’

On Thursday S.E. Cupp slammed former Obama foreign policy advisor Ben Rhodes for a tweet in which he seemed to wish death upon several political foes; Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), House Speaker Paul Ryan (D-WI), and Vice President Mike Pence Cupp wasn’t having any of this. Thursday on Unfiltered, the HLN host blasted the former advisor to President Barack Obama.
“You heard that, Ben Rhodes, a former Obama advisor openly fantasized about the deaths of three prominent politicians. Ben, I mean this, try therapy. You do not seem well. Many on the left seem to have lost sense of reality and decency.”
Cupp was visibly gobsmacked by the social media post and went on to further blast the tweet. “Surely he means this metaphorically,” Cupp said. I mean, how crazy, stupid, awful, terrible, unacceptable is this?” Tweets like this, paired with continuous political mud slinging had Cupp asking the question: Has the left lost it? “What infuriates me about the left wing culture and anti-Trump culture, while they use this hyperbolic language they are there is offended police. If anyone on the other side says anything that concerns them. They are concerned with micro aggressions. And they are offending,” panelist Dave Smith added. Cupp then went on to name more examples of other liberals who might have crossed the line, including Rosie O’Donnell. Cupp didn’t hold back her thoughts about a recent tweet in which O’Donnell promised to pay Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) $2 million if she voted against the GOP tax plan. “Rosie O’Donnell is not well. She’s not okay.” Watch above, via HLN. [image via screenshot]
