A suspicious package addressed to Treasure Secretary Steve Mnuchin left in the driveway of one of his Bel Air neighbors Saturday evening brought the Los Angeles Police Department’s bomb squad. The police completed their probe of the situation shortly after opening up the box and handed over the investigation to the Secret Service, stating that they’d be picking up the package sometime on Sunday.
It took a few hours for the police to clear the scene, leaving a number of Mnuchin’s well-to-do neighbors irked. Per CBS Los Angeles, Prince Frederick von Anhalt said “we have $50 million homes and we can’t move.” that he couldn’t move for two hours, he stated that the police “have to find another way.”
