Pro-Trump Singer Reportedly Files Complaint Against Lewandowski Over Alleged Sexual Assault

Pro-Trump singer Joy Villa has filed a sexual assault complaint against the president’s ex-campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, after she said he grabbed her butt at a party last month. When confronted after the first infraction and being told she could report him, Lewandowski allegedly told Villa “Go ahead, I work in the private sector” and then did it again. “I’m wearing this silver suit and stretchy pants, and after the photo, he smacks my ass really hard,” said Villa. “It was completely demeaning and shocking.” Villa went public with her story after a friend shared the event with the media, per Politico:
“I feared that it could backfire on me. Ten times out of 10 the woman gets blamed no matter what.”

She filed the complaint with the Metropolitan Police Department and said a detective told her, “What you describe happened to you is sexual assault.” a Trump supporter, Villa is perhaps best known for famously wearing a “Make America Great Again” dress to the Grammys. The Trump campaign fired Lewandowski after being charged with misdemeanor battery against a former Breitbart reporter at a campaign event. Though he initially refuted touching the reporter, footage released by police officials later showed Lewandowski grabbing her arm as she attempted to ask a question.
