WATCH LIVE: White House Press Briefing With Sarah Huckabee Sanders 1/9/2018

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will hold a briefing today to discuss the White House’s latest plans and administrative agenda. The briefing is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. EST. Today’s briefing is scheduled to happen after President Donald Trump signs a new executive order to give military veterans greater access mental health care services. It is likely that Sanders will talk about the 60-day plan to implement the order — which the administration hopes will reduce suicide rates among outgoing service members. When the press secretary takes questions, Sanders could possibly, once again, be asked about the revelations from Michael Wolff‘s explosive book about the Trump Administration. Even though the White House has emphatically denounced the book and challenged Wolff’s credibility over the last few days, the administration is still dealing with the aftermath of their major split from their former ally: Steve Bannon. On a separate related note, Sanders might also face questions pertaining to Trump’s psychological well-being. Wolff’s book describes a great deal of chaos from inner Trump-world, and it revived a lot of questions about whether the president is mentally stable. Trump declared himself a “very stable genius” when he tried to refute this notion over the weekend, yet the topic continues to be discussed in various corners. Other topics that might come up include Trump’s plans for a “fake news” award show, the ongoing debate over DACA, and the recent chatter about whether Oprah Winfrey will run for president in 2020.
