This blatantly obvious reference to Lori Klausutis, a 28-year-old Scarborough intern who died in his office back in 2001, prompted the host to respond via Twitter, saying that the president is “not well.” Additionally, during the podcast, Scarborough, while telling an anecdote, asking if he was allowed to say the name of disgraced former panelist Mark Halperin. Couric’s podcast is aired weekly. Upcoming installments will feature interviews with New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, and tech reporter Kara Swisher. Listen above, via Katie Couric. So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating the contract of Phil Griffin? And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the “unsolved mystery” that took place in Florida years ago? Investigate!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 29, 2017
Joe Scarborough, has — in recent months — taken a flamethrower to President Donald Trump‘s agenda and mercilessly criticized the man himself over his mental fitness for the office and a bevy of other issues. But apparently even he thinks that the president is not getting a fair shake from the press. Scarborough, along with Morning Joe co-host, Mika Brzezinski, appeared on Katie Couric’s podcast this morning, and slammed anti-Trump media bias — saying the “entire mainstream media” is against the president. “We’ve overstepped,” he said. “The entire mainstream media, we are reflexively anti-Trump on all things.” Brzezinski agreed. “We’re over our skis and it’s going to hurt us,” she said. Does this mean that Scarborough’s morning Trump coverage will change, becoming more sympathetic? This is the same television host, you may recall, that called the president “mentally unstable” and recently said that Trump is obsessed Hillary Clinton because she “crushed him.” For Scarborough, it may be personal. Trump took to Twitter last month and seemingly accused him of covering up a murder… or something.
