Dem Rep. Sherman Trashes Tucker Carlson While on Fox News: ‘He’s Been a Coward’

Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) appeared on Fox News this afternoon to talk about the recently passed tax plan and how some corporations have handed out bonuses and increased wages in the wake of its passage. Sherman, however, wanted to get something out of the way first. After host Trish Regan welcomed the California lawmaker on, Sherman thanked her for having him so he could “talk about this exploding job outsourcing economic disaster for our country.” He then tore right into Regan’s colleague Tucker Carlson. “When Tucker had me on to talk about nonsense, he promised he would have me on once the tax bill was published,” Sherman declared while holding up a note card. “But he’s been a coward every single time.” “Oh dear,” Regan sighed, adding “that’s not fair.” “What’s not fair?” Sherman asked. Regan would move on to a discussion about the tax plan its impact on the economy in the short term. At the end of the fairly heated segment, Sherman would once again take a shot at Carlson. In case you are wondering what Sherman is referencing, back in October, the Democrat completely derailed an interview with Carlson when he wanted to talk about the then-upcoming tax bill instead of Russia. The Fox News host promised Sherman that they could talk about it when the language of the plan was made public. Watch the clip above, via Fox News.
