Radio talk show host and Fox News contributor Leslie Marshall made a rather bold prediction ahead of 2020. Shannon Bream played several clips from the recent “Ideas Conference” hosted by the Center For American Progress, which featured several heavy favorites to run for the Democratic nomination including Senators Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). Marshall began by insisting that none of them are going to win the nomination “at the end of the day.” “You don’t?!?” Bream reacted. “I honestly feel that Joe Biden is the only Democrat that can beat Donald Trump,” Marshall declared, “because they have a lot in common and can appeal to individuals that voted for Donald Trump, you know, in those red states, those blue-collar workers that normally had voted for Democrats. I think that Joe Biden could bring them back with his ‘no malarkey’ talk and talking what matters to them which is jobs.” The liberal pundit acknowledged that the remarks made by Gillibrand, Booker, and Warren have “merit,” but the Democratic Party “still has that divide.” “We need to- any party- needs to unite,” Marshall continued. “And by the way, the uniting doesn’t matter, Shannon, if they don’t show up in the midterm elections, which historically and sadly, Democrats don’t, women don’t, minorities don’t, millennials don’t, all of which tend to be have registered more strongly as Democrat.” Watch the clip above, via Fox News.
