Rand Paul Eviscerates ‘Naive’ Lindsey Graham For War Threats Against NoKo: He’s ‘A Danger to the Country’

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) called his colleague, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) a “danger to the country” on Monday for suggesting that America might need to authorize military force against North Korea if President Donald Trump‘s talks with Kim Jong Un fail. Paul spoke with Wolf Blitzer today about the imminent denuclearization summit in Singapore. Blitzer asked the Kentucky Senator whether he thinks Trump has ruled out the use of military force against North Korea, and the CNN anchor also brought up Graham’s recent statement about how force might necessary if peace can’t be achieved through diplomacy. “Lindsey Graham is a danger to the country by even proposing ideas like authorizing war with Korea,” Paul said. “That should be something that is seen as naive and seen as something that really serious people shouldn’t be discussing.” When asked to elaborate, Paul said Graham “believes that war is always the and he also argued that America has gotten involved in too many foreign conflicts that don’t suit national interests.
