Kudlow joined Trump’s administration as the president’s top economic adviser in March, replacing Gary Cohn. He worked as a host on CNBC, and before that as a banker and economic adviser in the Reagan administration. The adviser most recently took center stage in the economic negotiations at the G7 summit, and backed Trump in his criticisms of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over tariffs.
