Michael Cohen Rebukes Report Saying He’s About to Get Arrested: ‘Your Alleged Source is Wrong!’

A new report suggests that President Donald Trump‘s personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, fears he will soon be placed under arrest. Vanity Fair released an article containing multiple sources who say that Cohen’s legal troubles might be about to reach a new stage. Gabriel Sherman spoke to friends of both Trump and Cohen, who say “It’s going to hit the fan” once Robert Mueller and Rod Rosenstein present their findings on the president’s supposed obstruction of justice. A former White House official said that Trump should be especially worried about Cohen — saying, “If anyone can blow up Trump, it’s him.” Whether Cohen flips on his boss or not, Sherman heard from another source who said that the attorney expects to be arrested “any day now.” Cohen denied this in a text message where he declared “Your alleged source is wrong!” Cohen has been under criminal for months, not only because he might’ve violated campaign finance laws with his hush money payments to Stormy Daniels, but also because of some of his shady business dealings. Most recently, there has been a lot of media intrigue surrounding Cohen’s meetings with Russian oligarchs, and also his work as a lobbyist selling access to his boss, the president.
