Trump’s Lawyers Saying He Had No Income From Russia ‘With Few Exceptions’ Is the Internet’s New Favorite Joke

Recently, lawyers for President Donald Trump told reporters that they have reviewed the his returns and that they do not show “any income of any type from Russian sources.” There are, however, some exceptions. But, you know, they are few. “With few exceptions” has become the Internet’s new favorite joke, and Twitter has run absolutely wild with it:

The Name Caitlyn Plummeted in Popularity More Than Any Other Name Last Year

shutterstock_546490966 The graduating class of 2034 isn’t going to have a lot of Caitlyns, Caitlins, Katelynns, or Kaitlynns in it. According to a report from the Associated Press, in the year after Caitlyn Jenner introduced herself to the world, the name she chose plummeted in popularity more than any other. Of course, while it’s easy to see a correlation here, it’s not necessarily the entire cause for the drop. Laura Wattenberg, founder of BabynameWizard.com told the AP that the name had already been declining in popularity. When Jenner took the name, however, she says it became “controversial” and that the drop was “inevitable.” Wattenberg also noted that parents choosing not to name their children Caitlyn generally probably doesn’t have to do with her being transgender. People just tend to not give their children names that have even a chance of causing controversy. She noted that “Even parents who are huge Donald Trump supporters Continue reading "The Name Caitlyn Plummeted in Popularity More Than Any Other Name Last Year"

This Week’s New Yorker Cover is Absolutely Brilliant

Screen Shot 2017-05-11 at 4.42.35 PM The New Yorker has long been known for their timely cover art — which, so often, can be funny or controversial. This week’s cover is pretty much just perfect. For the May 22 issue of the magazine, artist Barry Blitt‘s illustration brilliantly captures James Comey‘s firing. The cover depicts Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who — with President Donald Trump watching — is dragging Comey off of a plane, United Airlines style. The cover seamlessly brings these two events together, and the analogy is absolutely perfect. “It’s probably a bit of a leap,” Blitt said on the magazine’s website. “James Comey is six feet eight—he probably would have been happy to give up his seat in a cramped cabin.” [featured image via The New Yorker]

Long before now President Donald Trump ran for office, comedians were impersonating him. Everyone has his or her own take on Trump. That’s why it was kind of surprising when Alec Baldwin called out Anthony Atmanuik, whose masterful impression earned him a television show, on Jimmy Kimmel Live! as being “a guy who’s on the Internet.” He told Kimmel, “It’s interesting that now that he’s not going to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, there are people who are lobbying to play Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.” He added, “There’s a lot of Trump competition,” and said there’s “one guy” who’s lobbying. It was pretty easy to figure out who that guy was. Then, the two fake Trumps took their feud to Twitter: Last night, Atmanuik appeared on Watch What Happens Live, and host Andy Cohen Continue reading "Fake Trump Vs.
