Today, NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson set the record for the most cumulative days in space for any human. To mark the honor, she received a congratulatory call from President Donald Trump. Trump praised her for breaking the record, saying “that is really something.” Whitson said she was thrilled to smash the record, but that she was equally honored to work at NASA with all of the people who made it possible.
