President Donald Trump is reportedly listening to an outside group of advisors regarding how to handle the Justice Department’s refusal to provide unredacted documents to congressional lawmakers. CNN reported Monday that former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, former Trump deputy campaign manager David Bossie, and president of the Trump Hispanic Advisory Council Steve Cortes are all part of the group that is engaged in what one member described as a “concerted effort…to put pressure on [Deputy Attorney General Rod] Rosenstein to comply with [House Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin] Nunes’ information request.” Continue reading "Bannon and Lewandowski Reportedly Persuading Trump to Battle The DOJ"

Fox News host Neil Cavuto asked failed West Virginia Senate candidate Don Blankenship Tuesday if he is a “sore, bitter loser.” The blunt question came just days after Blankenship, after losing the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate, said he would launch a third-party bid for West Virginia Senate seat, currently occupied by Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin. Blankenship, an ex-convict who spent time in prison for violating federal coal mine safety regulations after a 2010 coal mine explosion that killed 29 people, said his third-party bid is “about the Establishment” because “somebody needs to stand up against them.” “I’ve been so abused by the government and sent to prison as a misdemeanor, I’m very motivated to stand up against this nonsense,” Blankenship said. Cavuto then pointed out to Blankenship that before the Republican primary just two weeks ago, “you were the establishment.” “Now it seems after failing Continue reading "Neil Cavuto Confronts Failed Candidate Don Blankenship on Third-Party Run: ‘You’re Not a Sore, Bitter Loser?’"
Police in Florida have released harrowing bodycam footage of officers responding to gunfire at the Trump National Golf Resort in Doral on Friday. The Washington Post reported that 42-year-old Jonathan Oddi opened fire early Friday morning inside President Donald Trump‘s namesake golf resort. Armed with a handgun, Oddi drew down the American flag from a flagpole outside the building and then draped the banner over a counter in the marble-floored lobby. Oddi then began yelling “anti-Trump, President Trump, rhetoric,” according to Juan Perez, director of Miami-Dade Police. Police said that Oddi pulled the fire alarm in the building “in efforts to cause further confusion,” the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported. “As he did that, he waited for our police officers. He did begin to shoot inside the lobby, which prompted calls and curiosity from some of the people in the lobby. They were met with an individual with a Continue reading "Trump Doral Golf Resort Shooting Bodycam Footage Released"

Journalists from three news organizations were forced out of an event Tuesday where Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt was scheduled to speak. Reporters from the Associated Press, CNN, and online environmentally focused outlet E&E News were barred from the event on water contaminants because of what EPA spokesman Jahan Wilcox said was a lack of sufficient space. CNN’s Oliver Darcy reports that the AP reporter was “physically shoved.” “This was simply an issue of the room reaching capacity, which reporters were aware of prior to the event. We were able to accommodate 10 reporters, provided a live stream for those we could not accommodate and were unaware of the individual situation that has been reported,” Wilcox said, according to NBC News. As The Hill reported Tuesday, several seats inside the room from where the reporters had been barred were open, since some reporters who had been invited Continue reading "AP Reporter ‘Physically Shoved’ Out of Event With Embattled EPA Chief Scott Pruitt"
NBA star LeBron James appeared to snub a fan wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat at Game 3 of the NBA playoffs Saturday by beginning to toss his towel to the Trump supporter — before throwing it in another direction, out of the fan’s reach. James, no supporter of President Donald Trump, made clear last year his thoughts on the Republican president, for whom his home state of Ohio voted for in 2016. “I don’t think a lot of people was educated,” James said of Trump voters. “And I think that’s one of the biggest problems when it becomes vote time is that people are just not educated on either the individual or what’s going on… I don’t think a lot of people are educated, and they make choices and say things that’s uneducated,” It doesn’t appear as though James has changed his mind when it comes to Trump. Former White House Press Secretary for President George W. Bush and Fox News co-host Dana Perino said Monday on The Five that former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and her team “have a right” to be upset over the way the FBI handled its investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. “I do think that the Hillary Clinton team has a right to be somewhat mad. Their position is you mean to tell me that the FBI was willing to go out on the record with the director to say that I was being investigated, if I am Hillary Clinton, and meanwhile, they played down New York Times inquiries about the Trump team being under investigation for Russian collusion,” Perino said. Co-host Jesse Watters then said that the FBI “didn’t think Trump was going to win.” Perino was referring to former FBI Director James Comey‘s Continue reading "Fox News’ Dana Perino: Clinton Team Has ‘A Right to Be Somewhat Mad’ at the FBI"
