Twitter Schools Tomi Lahren After She Calls LGBTQ March ‘Crybaby Fest Of Bulls**t’

Tomi Lahren gave her haters another reason to hate her this week.
The rightwing political commentator took to social media on Sunday to slam The Resist March, which replaced this year’s Los Angeles Pride Parade on June 11 in response to forces “gathering in government that intend to take away our hard-won basic human rights.

In a video posted to Facebook, Lahren offered her trademark “final thoughts” on The Resist March, calling it a “crock of crap” and railing against participants who she claims turned “what has been a celebratory parade into a crybaby fest of bullshit.”

You Can Hate What Kathy Griffin Did. Here’s Why You Should Defend Her Anyway.

Kathy Griffin has had quite a week.

After posing for a photo with a rubber dime store Donald Trump mask dripping in corn syrup blood, which was inspired by Trump’s “blood coming out of her wherever” comments about former Fox News host Megyn Kelly, the comedian suddenly found her own head on a platter.

Politicians condemned her. Venues canceled her shows. Trump lashed out at her on Twitter and a “Trump family source” claimed Barron Trump believed the image was real. CNN, the home of her New Year’s Eve special for nearly a decade, gave her the boot. Even Griffin’s beloved gay BFF, Anderson Cooper, distanced himself and tweeted his disapproval of her actions.

James Woods Goes After Anderson Cooper With Homophobic ‘Butt Plug’ Tweet

While much of the internet was celebrating Anderson Cooper responding to a statement made by Kellyanne Conway with a massive eye roll on Tuesday, one famous person had a very different reaction.
James Woods sent a decidedly homophobic tweet on Thursday attributing Cooper’s theatrical response to Conway to the CNN anchor’s “butt plug dislodg[ing] during a newscast.”

The senior Trump adviser appeared on Cooper’s show to talk about President Donald Trump firing FBI Director James Comey. At one point during the interview, Cooper and Conway got into a heated discussion about Trump’s actions during his campaign versus his actions as president.

“So that person doesn’t exist anymore?” Cooper asked, questioning why Conway refused to discuss what Trump did while running for office. “Candidate Donald Trump, that’s a fictional character we Continue reading "James Woods Goes After Anderson Cooper With Homophobic ‘Butt Plug’ Tweet"

Piers Morgan Has Meltdown About Emma Watson Winning Gender-Neutral MTV Award

The internet may have kicked off the week congratulating Emma Watson on her groundbreaking win of MTV’s first gender-neutral “Best Actor” award, but Piers Morgan wasn’t having any of it.
Watson was honored Sunday night at the MTV Movie and TV Awards for her performance in “Beauty and the Beast” and simultaneously made history for being the first actor to win a non-gendered award from MTV, a move the network announced earlier this year.
After receiving her trophy from Asia Kate Dillon, the gender non-binary star of Showtime’s “Billions,” Watson noted, “MTV’s move to create a genderless award for acting will mean something different for everyone, but to me it indicates that acting is about the ability to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and that doesn’t need to Continue reading "Piers Morgan Has Meltdown About Emma Watson Winning Gender-Neutral MTV Award"

Stephen Colbert To Face FCC Investigation Over ‘Homophobic’ Donald Trump Joke

Stephen Colbert pissed off lots of people this week with a controversial rant against President Donald Trump on “The Late Show” and now he might have to pay for it ― literally.
Federal Communications Commission chairman Ajit Pai revealed that the agency would investigate the comedian’s reference to Trump on Monday’s show as Russian President Vladamir Putin’s “cock holster.” Many called the comment “homophobic.”
“I have had a chance to see the clip now and so, as we get complaints, and we’ve gotten a number of them, we are going to take the facts that we find and we are going to apply the law as it’s been set out by the Supreme Court and other courts and we’ll take the appropriate action,” Pai said Continue reading "Stephen Colbert To Face FCC Investigation Over ‘Homophobic’ Donald Trump Joke"

Rachel Maddow’s Response To Being Called ‘Sir’ Was Absolutely Priceless

Rachel Maddow has spent the first three months of 2017 proving just how much of a boss she is.
Thanks to her intrepid reporting on the Trump administration and must-see exclusives, like nabbing two pages of the president’s 2005 tax returns, the openly gay MSNBC host is seeing some of the best ratings of her career ― and of any primetime cable news show.
But an unscripted moment that took place on Wednesday night may offer the best proof yet of Maddow being an undeniable ― and totally unflappable ― badass.
At the end of an interview with Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-N.J.) about members of Congress attempting to force President Donald Trump to release his tax returns, Maddow thanked Pascrell for being on her show, to which he responded, “Thank you, sir,” before quickly correcting himself and letting out a somewhat embarrassed “ma’am!”
It only Continue reading "Rachel Maddow’s Response To Being Called ‘Sir’ Was Absolutely Priceless"

Here’s A Fact-Check On Milo Yiannopoulos’ Incendiary Claims About Trans People

As a rule, The Huffington Post’s Queer Voices won’t publicize the white nationalists’ favorite troll Milo Yiannopoulos. The last thing we want to do is give this attention-seeker oxygen for his racist, transphobic, misogynist dumpster fire.
But there are moments when I think it’s important to fact-check his insanely dangerous rhetoric and one of those moments came Friday night, courtesy of Bill Maher’s “Overtime” aftershow.
After he engaged in a disappointingly playful interview with Yiannopoulous on his HBO show “Real Time With Bill Maher,” he offered the Breitbart editor more airtime, alongside panel members Larry Wilmore, Malcolm Nance and Jack Kingston on “Overtime.”
During the appearance, Yiannopoulos misgendered a trans woman he had previously attacked at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, claimed that transgender people suffer from a “psychiatric disorder” and stated he “makes no apologies for protecting women and children from men who are confused about their sexual identity.”
