Don Jr. Claims NY Times Op-Ed Writer Committed Crime By ‘Subverting the Will of the People’

Donald Trump Jr. believes that the anonymous senior White House staffer who penned the New York Times op-ed is guilty of the crime of “subverting the will of the people.” In a segment which aired Tuesday on Good Morning America, Don Jr. was asked by correspondent Tara Palmieri about President Donald Trump’s suggestion that the author of the Times piece is guilty of a crime. “What is the crime?” Palmieri asked. “I think you’re subverting the will of the people,” Don Jr. said. “To try to control the presidency while not the president you have millions who voted for this.” Don Jr. also seemed to lend credence to the reports that his father has become more isolated in the wake of the Times op-ed. “I think there are people in there he can trust,” Don Jr. said. But, he conceded, “It’s a much smaller group.” Continue reading "Don Jr. Claims NY Times Op-Ed Writer Committed Crime By ‘Subverting the Will of the People’"

Chris Christie and NYT’s Michelle Goldberg Clash Over Op-Ed: ‘You Have No Respect for the President!’

On ABC’s This Week, the anonymous New York Times op-ed from last week drew sparks between Trump surrogate former governor Chris Christie and NYT columnist Michelle Goldberg. In the clip above, ABC’s Jon Karl and Gov. Christie generally agree that the anonymous author of the op-ed, which alleges resistance against Donald Trump from within his own White House, should be outed by the New York Times if he or she has already issued a denial. “If this person who did it is one of those who has publicly denied it, what does the New York Times do with that information,” said Karl. “To continue to protect somebody who is publicly telling a lie?” “That’s why I say that the denials are important,” agreed Christie. “Because I would assume that the New York Times would be responsible enough that if someone is out there outright lying about their participation Continue reading "Chris Christie and NYT’s Michelle Goldberg Clash Over Op-Ed: ‘You Have No Respect for the President!’"

ABC Unveils First Teaser For Roseanne Spinoff The Conners

ABC released a short teaser of their upcoming Roseanne spinoff The Conners. Earlier this year, the debut of the Roseanne reboot was a smash hit, reaching over 27 million viewers. However, its star Roseanne Barr caused a major PR problem for the network after she made a racially charged tweet about Valerie Jarrett. ABC canceled her show within hours. The network announced several days later that they were reviving the show without Roseanne, calling it The Conners. The 15-second teaser shows the iconic Conner living room with Carly Simon‘s hit song “Anticipation” playing. Then text appears. “What’s next?” the teaser asks, followed by The Conners logo, which is in the same font as the Roseanne logo. Here is the official synopsis:
“After a sudden turn of events, the Conners are forced to face the daily struggles of life in Lanford in a way they never have before. This Continue reading "ABC Unveils First Teaser For Roseanne Spinoff The Conners"

WATCH: ICE Arrests Last Suspected Nazi Collaborator, Wheels Him from Home to Deport Him to Germany

On Monday, ICE raided the home of a 95-year-old man suspected of being the last known Nazi collaborator living in the U.S., and deported him to Germany after placing him under arrest. The man, Jakiw Palij, had been living in the Jackson Heights section of Queens, NY for the past 13 years — according to ABC News. In 2005, a judge revoked Palij’s citizenship and ordered that he be deported. Palij is suspected of having worked at the Treblinka death camp — at which which 6,000 prisoners were killed on a single day in 1943. The move was ordered by President Donald Trump, and the Continue reading "WATCH: ICE Arrests Last Suspected Nazi Collaborator, Wheels Him from Home to Deport Him to Germany"

John Bolton Suggests Brennan Probably Used Classified Info to Bash Trump

In a pre-recorded interview aired on This Week this morning, National Security Advisor John Bolton said he wasn’t saying for sure that former CIA Director John Brennan used and politicized classified intel to bash Donald Trump, he was not not saying that either. ABC’s Martha Raddatz said to Bolton that the president “cited his authority to protect the nation’s classified information as a reason, and also refereed to Brennan’s — what he called erratic behavior, wilder outbursts on the Internet and television,” in offering a reason for revoking Brennan’s clearance. “Brennan has been a strong critic of the administration,” said Raddat. “But what does this have to do with protecting classified information?” Bolton cited Senator Richard Burr’s remarks, also referenced by Brennan himself earlier on Meet the Press, and agreed that Brennan’s behavior both while at the CIA and after showed someone who was politicizing intelligence. “I Continue reading "John Bolton Suggests Brennan Probably Used Classified Info to Bash Trump"

Kimmel Leaves Kanye West Speechless By Asking if Trump Cares About Black People

Kanye West appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night for a roller coaster interview, in which the rapper, producer and designer raved about his love for President Donald Trump. West’s admiration for Trump — which appears to stem from an appreciation that of the businessman’s unlikely ascent to the presidency — contrasts with his previous views on Republican presidents, namely George W. Bush. The rapper famously once said, on a live Hurricane Katrina telethon as Mike Meyers stood awkwardly by, that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” As West told Kimmel about his support for the current Republican president on Thursday night, the late night host asked about his previous remarks. “You so famously and so powerfully said George Bush doesn’t care about black people, it makes me wonder what makes you think that Donald Trump does?” Kimmel asked. “Or any people at all.” After West Continue reading "Kimmel Leaves Kanye West Speechless By Asking if Trump Cares About Black People"
