CNN’s Ana Navarro went off on President Trump and Chief of Staff John Kelly after comments made by the latter about immigrants today. In talking about DACA-eligible immigrants who didn’t sign up, Kelly said today, “The difference between [690,000] and 1.8 million were the people that some would say were too afraid to sign up, others would say were too lazy to get off their asses, but they didn’t sign up.” Navarro said, “I’m really sick of this President and everybody who works around him demonizing immigrants.” “It seems like everything they utter is about MS-13,” she continued. “It seems that everything they Continue reading "Ana Navarro: Trump WH Keeps Demonizing Immigrants, Except for the Ones ‘That Married Donald Trump’"
CNN commentator @ananavarro: I’m sick of this President demonizing immigrants, “except for the immigrants that married Donald Trump, everybody else seems to be in the pot of bad people” https://t.co/UvTjQlxSmo pic.twitter.com/46Wv7whR4O— The Lead CNN (@TheLeadCNN) February 6, 2018
As Ana Navarro and Ken Cuccinelli battled on CNN over John Kelly‘s comments about some DREAMers today, Cuccinelli told Navarro he’s tired of her “shrill voice.” Navarro told him at one point, “Can I answer your damn question about who cares? The people who care are the immigrants who are sick and tired of having this White House attack us and bash us on a daily basis.” Cuccinelli––who last August on CNN told Symone Sanders to “shut up”––responded, “I’m sick and tired of listening to your shrill voice in my ears.” And right after that he made a hand gesture mocking how much she was speaking. The two of them continued to clash until Don Lemon jumped in and called out Cuccinelli for calling Navarro “shrill.” Cuccinelli responded, “Oh my gosh, you’re hearing it. Look, Ana yells us all down, and you tell the Continue reading "Ken Cuccinelli Tells Ana Navarro: ‘I’m Sick and Tired of Listening to Your Shrill Voice’"
CNN’s John Berman and conservative commentator Matt Schlapp duked it out on Friday as they debated whether President Trump is trying to undercut the FBI by releasing the GOP’s controversial intelligence memo. After a discussion about Trump’s most recent comments on DACA, Berman brought up the president’s latest tweet where he ripped the heads of the DOJ and the FBI for politicizing the memo. Trump reportedly hopes the memo’s release will discredit investigations into his alleged involvement with Russia, though top law enforcement and intelligence officials remain concerned about the memo creating a misleading picture of FBI practices. As Berman asked whether Trump was attacking his own appointed officials, Schlapp diverted by straight up accusing Barack Obama‘s administration of abusing FISA in order to spy on Trump. These allegations from the memo have yet to be proven, so Berman pushed back on Schlapp by asking “where is your proof” Continue reading "CNN’s John Berman Pummels Matt Schlapp Over Nunes Memo: ‘Where is Your Proof?!’"
Jason Miller and Ana Navarro squared off on CNN’s New Day today, so you already know right off the bat that the debate got passionate and snarky. The two commentators were asked about the new reports that President Trump wanted to know if Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein was on his “team.” This comes amid the recent news that Trump wanted to know who Andrew McCabe voted for before the Deputy FBI Director resigned this week after months of criticism from the president. As Navarro noted how Trump has repeatedly demanded fealty from members of the intelligence and law enforcement communities, Miller retorted that Trump has a “playful banter” in how he speaks with people, and it’s not entirely clear whether the president ever asked Rosenstein for his loyalty. Eventually, Miller chalked up the development to a “deep state” government leak to halt Trump’s momentum after his State of Continue reading "Ana Navarro and Alisyn Camerota Mock Jason Miller Over ‘Deep State’ Leak Claims"
CNN’s Alisyn Camerota grilled Matt Schlapp over President Donald Trump’s alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels. The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this month that Trump cheated on his pregnant wife Melania with porn star Stormy at a golf tournament in 2006, and then had his lawyer pay Stormy $130k to keep quiet about the affair. And a recent complaint filed against the Trump campaign claimed the hush money paid to Stormy constituted an unclaimed campaign expense. Well Schlapp, a former George W. Bush staffer whose wife Mercedes works in the current White House, tried his very best to dismiss the sex scandal as irrelevant on CNN’s New Day. “I don’t really have many thoughts on this Alisyn,” Schlapp said. “They’re basing this on a publication that is kind of like TMZ, a gossip publication.” After the WSJ report, it was revealed that Daniels detailed the affair in Continue reading "Camerota Roasts Matt Schlapp: ‘Conservatives Don’t Care Anymore About Extramarital Affairs?’"
Yes, this actually happened. We swear. Conservative pundits Matt Schlapp and Ana Navarro duked it out Tuesday morning on New Day over the alleged tryst between President Donald Trump and porn star Stormy Daniels. Before long, the discussion circled around to the anecdote that Daniels claimed to have spanked Trump — at his insistence — in the butt with a copy of Forbes magazine. Navarro, in jest, fired off this line: “What would be your magazine of choice, Matt?” “To get spanked on the butt, Ana?” Schlapp said, laughing. “I would want your picture on it, is that a deal?” Navarro laughed. “Oh my goodness gracious,” New Day host Alisyn Camerota said, sighing. Meghan McCain and Ana Navarro got into a heated argument on Monday morning’s The View over the Trump administration’s current approach to immigration and the government shutdown. “You are showing your partisanship if you do not place the same amount of blame on President Trump that you did on President Obama… It is not intellectually honest to say this is completely Trump’s fault,” McCain said. “I understand that DACA is a very emotional issue at this point, but most Republicans are on my side on this one, Ana, and it’s really difficult for me to understand sometimes why you still consider yourself a Republican,” she continued. “Because I’m a Hispanic immigrant Latina,” Navarro replied. “I came here through no decision of my own… Had my parents not had visas, had my parents not had the resources to hire lawyers, I would be a DREAM Act kid, too. That’s why Continue reading "Meghan McCain Clashes With Ana Navarro: Don’t See How ‘You Still Consider Yourself a Republican’"
