New Indictments in Mueller Probe Reportedly Expected As Soon As Today

Tuesday could bring a fresh set of indictments in special counsel Robert Mueller‘s investigation. According to a report from CBS, new indictments could be handed down in the Mueller probe as early as Tuesday — per sources identified as having knowledge of the special counsel’s investigation. The CBS report comes one day after Jerome Corsi — the conspiracy-spreading political pundit with ties to Roger Stone — said he expects to be charged. “I fully anticipate that in the next few days I will be indicted by Mueller for some form or other of giving false information to the special counsel or to one of the other grand jury,” Corsi said Monday during a live YouTube broadcast. “But I’m going to be criminally charged.” Former Trump attorney Michael Cohen was also in Washington on Monday to speak with Mueller’s team, according to CBS. And last week, Politico reported that Continue reading "New Indictments in Mueller Probe Reportedly Expected As Soon As Today"

NBC Miami Updates Years-Old Story After Don Jr. and Others Use it to Spread False Voter Fraud Claims

A years-old story has been tweeted by some high-profile figures on the right Monday in an effort to spread a conspiracy about voter fraud in Florida. But now, NBC Miami — the outlet which published the piece tweeted Monday by Donald Trump Jr., among others — has posted an editor’s note debunking the false claims which the president’s son has been trying to circulate. The original NBC Miami piece carried the headline: “Nearly 200,000 Florida Voters May Not Be Citizens” Amid tight elections in Florida for Senate and Governor, Trump Jr. and others on the right ran with that headline — from a story which was published on May 11, 2012.

Don Jr. Has Reportedly Told Friends He Thinks He Could Be Indicted

A new report today on President Donald Trump‘s pivot contains a somewhat notable detail regarding the ongoing Russia investigations. Per Politico, Trump’s 2020 calculus could be impacted by the Mueller probe and the possibility of “more dramatic indictments and a potentially damning final report.” And while things have been relatively quiet on the Mueller front––save for the increased scrutiny on Roger STone and the Jacob WohlJack Burkman clownshow––things may heat up soon enough:
Mueller might submit a final report on his investigation to the Justice Department at any point in the coming months, and he could also bring dramatic new indictments that would thrust the Russia probe back into national headlines. Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., who served as a key campaign surrogate for Republican candidates, has told friends in recent weeks that he believes he could be indicted, according to one of Continue reading "Don Jr. Has Reportedly Told Friends He Thinks He Could Be Indicted"

Howard Kurtz Busts ‘Bombshell’ Super Cut of Press Saying Trump is Done: ‘A Complete and Total Distortion’

Starting just before Halloween a supercut video purportedly featuring members of the media declaring the demise of Donald Trump over and over went very viral on social media, garnering a lot of blue check retweets and even one from Donald Trump, Jr. But Fox News Channel’s Howard Kurtz, who was among the faces in the montage, fact-checked the clip Sunday and found it sorely lacking. “This is really ticking me off,” said Kurtz, introducing the clip. “here’s a video out there setting off a lot of buzz online. Donald Trump Jr. is one of those who has retweeted it, showing a bunch of big mouth pundits just flatly writing off his father’s presidency, and the underlying theme is true. I have repeatedly criticized commentators were doing that going back to the early months of Donald Trump’s tenure.” He showed a brief portion of the long video and then came Continue reading "Howard Kurtz Busts ‘Bombshell’ Super Cut of Press Saying Trump is Done: ‘A Complete and Total Distortion’"

CNN PR Fires Back at Don Jr. Blasting Network for Not Running New Trump Ad: ‘This Ad Is Racist’

Donald Trump Jr. went after CNN this morning for refusing to run a new ad from the Trump campaign, and the network fired back. Earlier this week the President tweeted out a new ad featuring Luis Bracamontes, who was deported after entering the country illegally but later came back to the U.S.. The ad accuses Democrats of letting him back in, but additional reporting on the ad found he returned under the Bush administration. The ad also linked Bracamontes to the migrant caravan President Trump has made one of the key political issues of his final midterms message. Several CNN anchors trashed the ad as racist and inaccurate. Don Jr. tweeted out a similar ad this morning and said, “CNN refused to run this ad… I guess they only run fake news and won’t talk about real threats that don’t suit their agenda. Enjoy. Remember this on Tuesday.

Vanessa Trump Speaks Out on Powder Scare: ‘I Know Firsthand What it is Like to be Targeted and Terrorized by a Coward’

In the wake of a series of mail bombs being sent to CNN, the Obamas, the Clintons and others,  the wife of Donald Trump Jr., spoke out to Axios about when she was targeted by a mailed envelope filled with powder. According to Vanessa Trump‘s statement:
This is personal for me because I know firsthand what it is like to be targeted and terrorized by a coward with a vendetta. Back in February I opened an envelope intended for my husband Don, which covered my face, hands and clothing in white powder and left me terrified. I was rushed to the hospital, evaluated and put on Cipro for the longest two weeks of my life, and while they worked to identify whether the white powder was deadly, I spent the entire time thinking about the horrifying possibility that I would never see my 5 beautiful children again.
