Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Shreds Trump For False Statements, ‘Kowtowing to a Dangerous Competitor’

Kellyanne Conway‘s husband is back on Twitter and he’s packing a wallop of a response to Donald Trump‘s latest shenanigans. George Conway is not afraid to speak his mind and criticize the president, though he will defend Trump from dubious claims like Omarosa Manigault-Newman‘s insistence that Trump used a racial slur against him. As Trump ramps up his feud with Manigault-Newman by calling her a “dog,” political observers continue to make note of the fact that Omarosa was deeply unpopular at the White House, yet Trump apparently kept her onboard with a gigantic salary because she knew how to stroke his ego. Conway noticed an analogue of this on Twitter today, and he came up with his own where he subtly puts Trump on blast for his constant lies, attacks on his enemies, and coziness to Vladimir Putin.

George Conway: Omarosa’s Claim That Trump Used Racial Slurs Against Me is ‘Absurd All Around’

George Conway is throwing cold water on Omarosa Manigault‘s claim that she saw President Trump use racial slurs about him. A new report on Manigault’s upcoming book — UNHINGED: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House — claims that Trump once referred Kellyanne Conway‘s husband as a “f*cking flip” and a “goo-goo,” both of which are derogatory terms for Filipinos. This has been one of the more incendiary previews from Manigault’s book, which has been getting publicity since she former White House aide claimed she secretly recorded Trump before she departed his administration. While Mr. Conway has made it clear he’s not shy about criticizing the administration his wife works for, he’s among those who are raising questions about Manigault’s credibility. Indeed, he has gotten on Twitter and said Manigault’s claims are most likely bogus, pointing to the timeline of her account.

Omarosa Claims Trump is On Tape Using the N-Word, Made Racist Remarks About Kellyanne Conway’s Husband: Report

As Omarosa Manigault prepares to release a book about her time in the White House, a new report says she claims there were multiple instances of President Donald Trump using racist language. The book — UNHINGED: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House — garnered publicity this week after it was revealed that Manigault secretly taped Trump, much like his old lawyer Michael Cohen. Manigualt’s book will document her “growing realization that Donald Trump was indeed a racist, a bigot and a misogynist,” and according to The Guardian, it contains an account of Trump using racial slurs against Kellyanne Conway‘s husband.
She also claims that she personally witnessed Trump use racial epithets about the White House counselor Kellyanne Conway’s husband George Conway, who is half Filipino. “Would you look at this George Conway article?” she quotes the president as saying. “F**ing FLIP! Disloyal! Fucking Goo-goo. Continue reading "Omarosa Claims Trump is On Tape Using the N-Word, Made Racist Remarks About Kellyanne Conway’s Husband: Report"

Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Ups Ante with Scathing Rebuke of Trump, Mueller Critics

George Conway, lawyer and husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, has penned a strong defense of the Mueller probe. Conway, making his debut in Lawfare, has a piece out titled “The Terrible Arguments Against the Constitutionality of the Mueller Investigation.” He opens by bringing up President Trump‘s claim that the Mueller appointment is “totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL!” and looks at where this argument is actually coming from––Federalist Society co-founder Steven Calabresi. Conway doesn’t buy this argument and he writes at great length defending Mueller’s constitutionality:
Against this unsupported rhetoric, moreover, there is an actual public record—an extensive one—to cite and review. A record consisting of, among other things, the regulations under which Mueller was appointed; the order under which he was appointed; the correspondence and sworn testimony of the principal officer, Acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who appointed Mueller; as well as an actual Continue reading "Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Ups Ante with Scathing Rebuke of Trump, Mueller Critics"

Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Weighs in on Trump’s Narcissistic Memorial Day Tweet

Hmm, why does it seem like we’ve been here before? Oh, that’s right, we have been here before, over and over again. Kellyanne Conway‘s husband, conservative lawyer George Conway, is yet again expressing his distaste for President Trump. This time, Conway took a break from helping out anti-Trump critics in order to simply retweet some negative statements about his wife’s boss. Trump got a lot of flak yesterday from those who thought his Memorial Day statement did more to glorify himself than America’s veterans. Based on these retweets, it looks like Mr. Conway is singing in that choir of critics. He didn’t stop there though. No. Mr. Conway also retweeted these tweets that Trump probably won’t approve of. Never a dull moment from House Conway. [Image via screengrab] — —

Kellyanne’s Husband Reportedly Advises Anti-Trump Writers on How to Improve Their Arguments

An extensive new profile on George Conway is revealing some interesting details about the impact his anti-Trump tweets have had on conservative circles and his wife, Kellyanne Conway. For months, political observers have taken note of Mr. Conway’s public statements contradicting or sometimes even challenging his wife’s boss. Even though Mr. Conway was considered for solicitor general at one point, Politico took a deep dive look into how the high power lawyer went from a Trump supporter proud of his wife for running a successful presidential campaign — to a subtle but pointed thorn in the side of the administration. Politico’s piece even reported that Mr. Conway has become so frustrated with Donald Trump’s assaults on the rule of law that he is now coaching the president’s critics on how to improve their arguments against him. From the report:
On some occasions, Conway has even gone outside the boundaries Continue reading "Kellyanne’s Husband Reportedly Advises Anti-Trump Writers on How to Improve Their Arguments"

Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Fact-Checks Ari Fleischer on Claims of Mueller Probe Bias

Kellyanne Conway‘s husband George defended the Mueller probe against an accusation of bias from former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer. George Conway has occasionally tweeted out things at odds with the administration his wife works for, and when the White House counselor was asked about it a few weeks ago, she made it clear she did not appreciate the question. Regardless, after Fleischer claimed today Mueller’s hirings “create the appearance of bias,” Conway responded that they actually don’t:
