George Conway Roasts Trump: ‘Your Stupidity Knows No Bounds’

George Conway, lawyer and husband of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, tore into President Donald Trump on Tuesday over his criticism of a former aide. Trump unleashed on Cliff Sims — the former White House staffer whose tell-all book about the administration just dropped — in a tweet Tuesday. “A low level staffer that I hardly knew named Cliff Sims wrote yet another boring book based on made up stories and fiction,” Trump wrote. “He pretended to be an insider when in fact he was nothing more than a gofer. He signed a non-disclosure agreement. He is a mess!” Conway replied to Trump’s tweet with a simple but scathing one-liner: “Your stupidity knows no bounds.” Publicity aside, Sims Continue reading "George Conway Roasts Trump: ‘Your Stupidity Knows No Bounds’"

George Conway Says He Had Nothing to Do With Kellyanne’s Statement Firing Back at Cliff Sims in Vanity Fair

George Conway says he has nothing to do with a statement put out by his wife — Kellyanne Conway — firing back at former White House aide Cliff Sims, who called her a leaker in his explosive new book. From the excerpt of Sims’new book Team of Vipers: My 500 Extraordinary Days in the Trump White House, as published by Vanity Fair on Wednesday:
Over the course of 20 minutes or so, she was having simultaneous conversations with no fewer than a half-dozen reporters, most of them from outlets the White House frequently trashed for publishing “fake news.” Journalists from The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, Politico, and Bloomberg were all popping up on the screen. And these weren’t policy conversations, or attempts to fend off attacks on the president. As I sat there trying to type, she bashed Jared Kushner, Reince Priebus, Steve Bannon, Continue reading "George Conway Says He Had Nothing to Do With Kellyanne’s Statement Firing Back at Cliff Sims in Vanity Fair"

George Conway ‘Translates’ Giuliani’s Walk Back: ‘I Just Made S**t Up’

On Monday,  George Conway — the husband of Kellyanne Conway and frequent Trump critic —  offered his own translation of Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani‘s latest statement on the Trump Tower Moscow discussions. According to Conway, Giuliani’s statement meant simply this: “I just made s**t up.” Earlier on Monday,  Giuliani issued a statement calling any of his prior claim about Trump Tower Moscow “hypothetical.” “My recent statements about discussions during the 2016 campaign between Michael Cohen and then-candidate Donald Trump about a potential Trump Moscow ‘project’ were hypothetical and not based on conversations I had with the President,” Giuliani claimed. He added: “My comments did not represent the actual timing or circumstances of any such discussions. The point is that the proposal was in the earliest stage and did not advance beyond a Continue reading "George Conway ‘Translates’ Giuliani’s Walk Back: ‘I Just Made S**t Up’"

George Conway Snarks at Report John Kelly Thought Trump Wasn’t Up for Job: ‘You Don’t Say’

The husband of Kellyanne Conway was at it again on Sunday, responding to a New York Times report that departing chief of staff John Kelly thought President Donald Trump wasn’t really doing an A-plus job as POTUS. On Sunday, the Times published an article by Maggie Haberman that cites two administration officials who claimed Kelly thought Trump was just not cut out for the Oval Office. As Haberman tweeted out from the article: “Mr. Kelly ‘frequently told people that Mr. Trump was not up to the role of president, according to two former administration officials.'” Responding to the news, George Conway wrote on Twitter simply: “You don’t say.” Despite being married to Trump loyalist and apologist Kellyanne Conway, George  — who is also a lawyer — has repeatedly made waves with his criticism of Trump. Prior Continue reading "George Conway Snarks at Report John Kelly Thought Trump Wasn’t Up for Job: ‘You Don’t Say’"

Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Asks: ‘Who’s Going to Step Up’ to Stop Trump?

It’s Friday morning and Kellyanne Conway‘s husband is going rogue yet again. George Conway is back on Twitter and mocking President Trump‘s firestorm from the increasingly probably government shutdown, the withdrawal from Syria, and the resignation of James Mattis. He started things off by reminding his Twitter following that Trump promised to accept responsibility for a shutdown if the government fails to pass a spending bill by the end of the day. He eventually focused on Mattis’s resignation, not only because of the Defense Secretary’s disagreements with the president, but also the concerns over the fact that Mattis was one of the most stabilizing elements of the Trump presidency. Here’s what he tweeted and retweeted on the matter:

Once again, there’s probably going to an interesting night in Kellyanne Conway‘s house, thanks to her husband’s latest criticisms of her boss. George Conway is back on Twitter to slam Donald Trump in light of his recent policy setbacks and questionable decisions on various fronts. First, he remarked on how many Republicans are bashing Trump as he flinches on the border wall and draws outrage for pulling U.S. troops out of Syria while claiming ISIS has been beaten. Later, Conway noted Vladimir Putin‘s delight over the Syrian situation, and he Continue reading "George Conway Cites Article Mocking Trump’s’ Increasingly Pathetic and Impotent’ Rage-Tweets"

George Conway Calls GOP ‘Personality Cult,’ Says He’d Move to Australia Before Voting for Trump Again

Kellyanne Conway‘s husband just took his criticisms of her boss up another notch…or five. George Conway gave an interview to Michael Isikoff for Yahoo News’ Skullduggery podcast on Friday to talk about Checks and Balances, the new coalition he formed to debate and legally challenge the policies of Donald Trump. Conway offered a series of very candid comments about the president, not the least of which were his refusal to say if Trump is “stable,” and also the part where he talked about why he dropped his GOP party registration “I don’t feel comfortable being a Republican anymore,” Conway said. “I think the Republican Party has become something of a personality cult.” The interview continued with Conway slamming Trump’s “corrosive” tweets, particularly the ones where the president uses bombastic terms to comment on sensitive matters of the law. One example that Conway found “very disturbing” was how

Mark Levin Rips Kellyanne Conway’s ‘Moron’ Husband: ‘Apparently You Believe in Publicly Humiliating Your Wife’

Conservative talk radio host Mark Levin holds remarkable sway over his fellow right-of-center opinionators. His sharp and fearless perspective serves as a “lodestar” for lesser mortals trying to analyze the news of the day in a manner that puts conservative ideologies in the most positive light. So when the husband to White House senior staffer Kellyanne Conway announced that he was forming a coalition of conservative lawyers designed to challenge the Trump Administration on the legal battlefield, Levin’s take causes big ripples. George Conway is a frequent critic of President Donald Trump and reportedly founded the group with several affiliates of his from the Federalist Society, a conservative legal group which is about to hold a convention to celebrate their growing influence in the Trump era. But Levin sees something more sinister in Mr. Conway’s efforts, or what Trump ostensibly called a publicity stunt. Levin tweeted:

Kellyanne Conway‘s husband is going rogue again. New York Times says that George Conway has formed a group with fellow conservative lawyers in order to challenge the Trump Administration on the legal battlefield. Conway reportedly founded the group with several affiliates of his from the Federalist Society, a conservative legal group which is about to hold a convention to celebrate their growing influence in the Trump era. “We believe in the rule of law, the power of truth, the independence of the criminal justice system, the imperative of individual rights and the necessity of civil discourse,” the group, Checks and Balances, told the Times. “We believe these principles apply regardless of the party or persons in power.” Conway and other members of his group told the Times that their objective is getting conservative lawyers to “speak out” and defend the constitutional principles that have been compromised by the Continue reading "George Conway Forms Coalition of Conservative Legal Minds to ‘Speak Out’ Against Trump"

Kellyanne Conway Shrugs Off Husband’s Anti-Whitaker Op-Ed: ‘Spouses Disagree Every Day’

Kellyanne Conway brushed off questions on her husband’s recent New York Times op-ed declaring Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker‘s appointment unconstitutional, making light of the editorial that underscored the couple’s political differences. “Spouses disagree every day,” she told ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos of her difference with George Conway during an interview Sunday, adding that President Donald Trump was assured by his lawyers that the appointment was legal. “I offer my advice and opinion to the president in private. I don’t need to put [it] on the op-ed pages,” Conway, who is a counselor to Trump, added. Defending herself further, Conway seemed fed up with attention to her relationship with George. “I don’t think it’s nice and I think people questioning publicly aspects of our marriage and the rest of our life is very inappropriate because I stay out of other people’s lives,” she said. In his column last Continue reading "Kellyanne Conway Shrugs Off Husband’s Anti-Whitaker Op-Ed: ‘Spouses Disagree Every Day’"

Trump Trashes Kellyanne Conway’s Husband: ‘He’s Just Trying to Get Publicity For Himself’

During his Friday pool spread with the White House press corps, President Trump took shots at Kellyanne Conway‘s husband for saying it was “unconstitutional” of him to appoint Matt Whitaker as acting attorney general. George Conway co-wrote a New York Times piece on Thursday which not only argued that Whitaker’s appointment was “illegal,” but also that anything he tries to do in his new position is constitutionally “invalid.” When Trump was asked about this, the president directed the question to Conway’s wife while writing him off as a publicity-seeker. “He’s just trying to get publicity for himself,” Trump said. “Why don’t you do this, why don’t you ask Kellyanne that question, all right? She might know him better than me. I really don’t know the guy.” Fun fact: reporters have tried asking Mrs. Conway about her husband’s regular criticisms of Trump, to which she reacted with deep Continue reading "Trump Trashes Kellyanne Conway’s Husband: ‘He’s Just Trying to Get Publicity For Himself’"

George Conway Co-Authors Op-ed Declaring Trump’s Appointment of Whitaker Unconstitutional

There’s going to be another awkward night around the dinner table in Kellyanne Conway‘s house. While the White House counselor says Matt Whitaker is eminently qualified to take over for Jeff Sessions as acting attorney general, her husband George Conway is crying foul and calling it an unconstitutional move by President Donald Trump. Conway, a frequent critic of his wife’s boss, co-authored a New York Times op-ed Thursday titled Trump’s Appointment of the Acting Attorney General Is Unconstitutional. The piece argues that Trump is dodging legal requirements to seek the Senate’s consent for who leads the Department of Justice, and therefore, anything Whitaker tries to do in his new position is “invalid.” The article starts by pointing out the flaws in Trump’s claim that the appointment of special counsel Robert Mueller is “totally UNCONSTITUTIONAl.” The position of Attorney General is classified as a “principal officer” job Continue reading "George Conway Co-Authors Op-ed Declaring Trump’s Appointment of Whitaker Unconstitutional"

George Conway Denounces Trump’s ‘Unconstitutional’ Proposal to End Birthright Citizenship in Op-Ed

Kellyanne Conway‘s husband has once again taken a very public step against the Trump administration, this time over President Donald Trump‘s comments on ending birthright citizenship, which the counselor to the president defended today: George Conway co-authored the Washington Post op-ed along with former acting U.S. solicitor general Neal Katyal, and both of them agree the idea of such an executive order ending birthright citizenship would be challenged and clearly lose. “He is threatening, with the stroke of a pen,” they write, “to declare certain people who are born in the United States Continue reading "George Conway Denounces Trump’s ‘Unconstitutional’ Proposal to End Birthright Citizenship in Op-Ed"

Kellyanne Conway Attacks Op-Ed Writer as Cowardly…Weeks After Trying to Trash Own Husband Anonymously

White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway attacked the senior administration official who penned an anonymous anti-Donald Trump op-ed for the New York Times, calling him “cowardly” — just weeks after she attempted to criticize her own husband anonymously to Washington Post reporter. In an interview with Fox & Friends this morning, Conway said the anonymous official responsible for the op-ed “should be named, blamed, and shamed for not having the courage to come forward,” adding that “cowards are like criminals,” so the writer will “eventually” out himself by blabbing to someone.

George Conway On Trump’s Feud With Sessions Over GOP Indictments: ‘Facts Are Very Bad’

George Conway is throwing himself into the new mix-up between Donald Trump and Jeff Sessions. The outspoken husband of White House special counselor Kellyanne Conway posted an Axios report on Tuesday which covers the president’s anger over the Department of Justice’s indictments against Chris Collins (R-NY) and Duncan Hunter (R-CA). As you can gather by the points Mr. Conway highlighted, the piece makes note of Republicans who feel troubled by the idea that Trump wants the DOJ to operate by prosecuting political enemies while protecting allies. The piece also notes that the president’s statement will almost certainly be incorporated into litmus Continue reading "George Conway On Trump’s Feud With Sessions Over GOP Indictments: ‘Facts Are Very Bad’"

George Conway Gives Constitutional Rebuke To Trump’s Call on Jeff Sessions to Target Enemies

Judging by the recent profile where she said that her husband’s tweets are a “disrespectful” violation of decency against President Trump, Kellyanne Conway probably won’t be happy about this at all. George Conway is back on Twitter, and he took notice of Trump’s latest online demands that Attorney General Jeff Sessions launch investigations into his various political foes. As we previously noted, Trump seemed to sarcastically praise Sessions for saying the Justice Department “will not be improperly influenced by political considerations.” Mr. Conway isn’t shy about raising his objections to the president, and as you can see Continue reading "George Conway Gives Constitutional Rebuke To Trump’s Call on Jeff Sessions to Target Enemies"

Kellyanne Conway Says Husband’s Trump Tweets ‘Disrespectful,’ ‘Violation of Basic Decency’ in Stunning Profile

A new profile in the Washington Post takes a peek underneath of gilded veneer of Kellyanne and George Conway‘s lives to reveal a tension all too familiar in many American households: a tension based on Trump alliances. The White House counselor is, of course, is one of Donald Trump‘s most loyal supporters regularly appearing on cable news to explain away, defend and otherwise bolster her boss. George is not a big fan of Trump and occasionally takes to Twitter to pan POTUS. Speaking of his tweets, George said this to WaPo‘s Ben Terris: “It’s an outlet, that keeps it a small part of my life.” “I think I’m actually holding back a little,” he added. “I think the reason why is obvious.” That particular moment took place in the Conways’ kitchen. As George confessed about Trump, Kellyanne apparently sang “loudly into a cucumber” to make it Continue reading "Kellyanne Conway Says Husband’s Trump Tweets ‘Disrespectful,’ ‘Violation of Basic Decency’ in Stunning Profile"

Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Shreds Trump For False Statements, ‘Kowtowing to a Dangerous Competitor’

Kellyanne Conway‘s husband is back on Twitter and he’s packing a wallop of a response to Donald Trump‘s latest shenanigans. George Conway is not afraid to speak his mind and criticize the president, though he will defend Trump from dubious claims like Omarosa Manigault-Newman‘s insistence that Trump used a racial slur against him. As Trump ramps up his feud with Manigault-Newman by calling her a “dog,” political observers continue to make note of the fact that Omarosa was deeply unpopular at the White House, yet Trump apparently kept her onboard with a gigantic salary because she knew how to stroke his ego. Conway noticed an analogue of this on Twitter today, and he came up with his own where he subtly puts Trump on blast for his constant lies, attacks on his enemies, and coziness to Vladimir Putin.

George Conway: Omarosa’s Claim That Trump Used Racial Slurs Against Me is ‘Absurd All Around’

George Conway is throwing cold water on Omarosa Manigault‘s claim that she saw President Trump use racial slurs about him. A new report on Manigault’s upcoming book — UNHINGED: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House — claims that Trump once referred Kellyanne Conway‘s husband as a “f*cking flip” and a “goo-goo,” both of which are derogatory terms for Filipinos. This has been one of the more incendiary previews from Manigault’s book, which has been getting publicity since she former White House aide claimed she secretly recorded Trump before she departed his administration. While Mr. Conway has made it clear he’s not shy about criticizing the administration his wife works for, he’s among those who are raising questions about Manigault’s credibility. Indeed, he has gotten on Twitter and said Manigault’s claims are most likely bogus, pointing to the timeline of her account.

Omarosa Claims Trump is On Tape Using the N-Word, Made Racist Remarks About Kellyanne Conway’s Husband: Report

As Omarosa Manigault prepares to release a book about her time in the White House, a new report says she claims there were multiple instances of President Donald Trump using racist language. The book — UNHINGED: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House — garnered publicity this week after it was revealed that Manigault secretly taped Trump, much like his old lawyer Michael Cohen. Manigualt’s book will document her “growing realization that Donald Trump was indeed a racist, a bigot and a misogynist,” and according to The Guardian, it contains an account of Trump using racial slurs against Kellyanne Conway‘s husband.
She also claims that she personally witnessed Trump use racial epithets about the White House counselor Kellyanne Conway’s husband George Conway, who is half Filipino. “Would you look at this George Conway article?” she quotes the president as saying. “F**ing FLIP! Disloyal! Fucking Goo-goo. Continue reading "Omarosa Claims Trump is On Tape Using the N-Word, Made Racist Remarks About Kellyanne Conway’s Husband: Report"
