On Friday, it was revealed Sarah Sanders was interviewed in the Russia probe. Sanders is just the latest among those closest to President Donald Trump and associated with his campaign to be ranked among those known to have been interviewed by the Special Counsel. However, CNN National Security Analyst Juliette Kayyem made the point during a panel on Erin Burnett‘s show that one name is notably absent from the list of interviewees, at least so far. That name is White House counselor and former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway. “I find this list fascinating because obviously some of them are from the campaign, some of them crossed over,” Kayyem began. “But these are the names we know, right? You and I watching TV getting to know the team, the campaign, the White House. These are the names we know because these are the ones Trump has put before us.” Continue reading "CNN National Security Analyst Asks: Why Do We ‘Never Hear About’ Kellyanne Conway in Mueller Developments?"

Kettle Alert: Kellyanne Conway Attacks Beto for Wanting ‘Free Airtime’ for Presidential Run

Trump White House counselor Kellyanne Conway launched a series of strange attacks at Democratic presidential candidates, including a shot at Beto O’Rourke for holding a rally in El Paso to get “free airtime.” On Monday morning’s edition of Fox & Friends, co-host Brian Kilmeade noted that O’Rourke, who came very close to defeating Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in 2018, is holding a counter-rally to Trump’s scheduled El Paso MAGA rally. “Is the president concerned about the size of his crowds?” Kilmeade asked. Conway answered “No,” then referenced Cruz’s narrow victory in a once deep red state by calling O’Rourke a “loser,” and noted that the El Paso rally will get O’Rourke “a lot of free airtime for the would-be 2020 race, and people should see that for what it is.” O’Rourke has not declared a candidacy for 2020, but Donald Trump has, and will almost certainly Continue reading "Kettle Alert: Kellyanne Conway Attacks Beto for Wanting ‘Free Airtime’ for Presidential Run"

White House Senior Advisor Kellyanne Conway revealed details of how she was assaulted at a DC area restaurant in Fall of 2018 while sitting down for an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash. The assault came while Conway was dining at a restaurant with her middle school-aged daughter, and according to Conway’s account, and according to Bash it occurred right after the Brett Kavanaugh hearings when political tensions, particularly in suburban Maryland town of Bethesda where this occurred, were “very, very high.” Conway said that while standing next to her daughter, she felt somebody grabbing her from behind. This person “grabbed my arms and was shaking me to the point where I thought maybe somebody was hugging me, one of the other parents coming to pick up his or her daughter. As I turned around it just felt it felt like that’s a little aggressive. ” “She was out of control,” Conway Continue reading "Kellyanne Conway Reveals to CNN’s Dana Bash Details Of Being Assaulted at a Restaurant"

NPR Host Roasts Kellyanne on Inviting Bullied Boy to SOTU: Will Trump ‘Apologize’ For His Bullying?

On Tuesday morning, NPR host Rachel Martin confronted Kellyanne Conway over President Trump’s “cyberbullying” ahead of Tuesday night’s State of the Union address. The President tonight will have as one of his guests an 11-year-old boy, Joshua Trump, who has been cruelly bullied for simply sharing the last name. The family (no relation) made their story public, and the First Family invited them to the State of the Union. “Is the President going to mention Joshua in his address,” asked Martin, “and in doing so will he apologize for his own role in cyberbullying people with whom he disagrees?” Conway referred to Trump as a “counterpuncher” and Martin continued to press, saying that there is “hypocrisy” in Trump inviting someone who has been bullied but ignoring “the president’s own role.” Listen to the back-and-forth (above) courtesy of [[]] [Featured image via screengrab] — Follow Caleb Continue reading "NPR Host Roasts Kellyanne on Inviting Bullied Boy to SOTU: Will Trump ‘Apologize’ For His Bullying?"

Watch: ‘Pro-Life’ Kellyanne Conway Once Threatened to Perform Abortion on Feminists ‘With a Gun’

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway has always maintained that she’s pro-life, which she has chosen to demonstrate recently by lying about late-term abortions. During a Fox News interview Monday afternoon, Conway falsely accused Gov. Ralph Northam of supporting “infanticide,” and repeated the lie during a gaggle with reporters shortly thereafter. But Conway’s respect and reverence for life were nowhere to be found in 2007, when she joked that she would perform an abortion “with a gun” the next time she heard something she didn’t like from “those gender studies people.” During a July 13, 2007 speech to the College Republican National Committee, video of which is currently not available on C-Span, Conway riffed at length on the focus of “gender studies feminists” on the issue of abortion, “as if it’s a number one issue with normal women.” Then, she made her ghoulish wisecrack. “I always love to say to Continue reading "Watch: ‘Pro-Life’ Kellyanne Conway Once Threatened to Perform Abortion on Feminists ‘With a Gun’"

Kellyanne Conway Literally Asks Why Abortion Rights Are ‘Women’s Issues’

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway interrupted her stream of alternative facts about abortion to wonder aloud why abortion rights are considered “women’s issues.” On Monday afternoon’s edition of Fox News’ Outnumbered Overtime with Harris Faulkner, Conway railed about Gov. (for now) Ralph Northam‘s (D-VA) comments regarding proposed legislation that would have reduced restrictions on late-term abortions in the state. Conway repeated the lie that Northam was advocating “infanticide,” which host Harris Faulkner failed to correct. Numerous other Fox News personalities have similarly promoted, or failed to correct, this lie. But Faulkner did push back when Conway “the mainstream media” of being “pretty much pro-abortion themselves.” “You say most of the mainstream media being pro-abortion, I’m sure some of them would definitely take exception to that as they do their jobs objectively,” Faulkner said. “They’re going to say they’re pro-choice, but are they for this war against Continue reading "Kellyanne Conway Literally Asks Why Abortion Rights Are ‘Women’s Issues’"

S.E. Cupp Roasts Kellyanne Conway: It’s ‘Dumb Crap Like This’ That Diminishes ‘Real Sexism’

On Saturday, CNN’s S.E. Cupp ripped Kellyanne Conway for a tweet where the top Trump aide asked: “what does Cory Booker have against all the women already running for President?” That tweet, as Cupp noted, lit Twitter ablaze. Cupp, though, was not buying it and noted Conway has tried those tactics before. She started off by showing the crowded field of 2016 Republican hopefuls that included one woman, Carly Fiorina. “This was the Republican field for the 2016 election, I’ll remind you,” she said. “Were they all sexist for running against Carly Fiorina and Hillary Clinton? Was Trump?” She then said this, ripping Conway: “I Continue reading "S.E. Cupp Roasts Kellyanne Conway: It’s ‘Dumb Crap Like This’ That Diminishes ‘Real Sexism’"

Kellyanne Conway Swipes at New 2020 Entrant Cory Booker: He ‘Often Sounds Like a Hallmark Card’

Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) announced today he is running for President and one White House official has already weighed in. Kellyanne Conway was about Booker’s announcement and said this in response:
“I think Cory Booker often sounds like a Hallmark card and not necessarily a person who’s there to tell you everything he’s accomplished in the United States Senate and as mayor of Newark.”

Conway also weighed in on Fox & Friends this morning. In addition to trolling Booker by saying he would be called sexist if he was a Republican for running against women like Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), she asked what his accomplishments are and brought up his “Spartacus moment” from the Brett Kavanaugh hearings. Watch above, via CNN. George Conway Roasts Trump: ‘Your Stupidity Knows No Bounds’

George Conway, lawyer and husband of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, tore into President Donald Trump on Tuesday over his criticism of a former aide. Trump unleashed on Cliff Sims — the former White House staffer whose tell-all book about the administration just dropped — in a tweet Tuesday. “A low level staffer that I hardly knew named Cliff Sims wrote yet another boring book based on made up stories and fiction,” Trump wrote. “He pretended to be an insider when in fact he was nothing more than a gofer. He signed a non-disclosure agreement. He is a mess!” Conway replied to Trump’s tweet with a simple but scathing one-liner: “Your stupidity knows no bounds.” Publicity aside, Sims Continue reading "George Conway Roasts Trump: ‘Your Stupidity Knows No Bounds’"

Fmr White House Aide Cliff Sims on Why Kellyanne Conway’s Not Been Fired: Television Loyalty Matters to Trump

Former White House aide and author of a new Trump tell-all Team of Vipers Cliff Sims sat down with Stephen Colbert to talk about his new book on Monday. He also talked about the moment — which he tells about in his book — where he caught White House counselor Kellyanne Conway leaking to the press. Conway “calls me upstairs to write a response to some show hosts who were saying that off-air she was trashing the president and wanted me to help her craft a response to that,” Sims  said. “I’m sitting on her Apple laptop in her office trying to type this up and she forgets that she’s sitting there at her desk typing on her iPhone which is synced to her computer. Not good, Stephen, not good.” He added: “It’s a great lesson for everyone. Nothing accidentally good ever happens from synced i-messages.” Sims Continue reading "Fmr White House Aide Cliff Sims on Why Kellyanne Conway’s Not Been Fired: Television Loyalty Matters to Trump"

Former White House aide Cliff Sims has a tell-all book called Team of Vipers coming out tomorrow. Already-published excerpts of his book include allegations that Kellyanne Conway was a big leaker and that John Kelly vented to him about “the worst fucking job I’ve ever had.” Sims gave his first interview to ABC News this morning, and this afternoon Politico reported that the White House isn’t happy about it––especially President Donald Trump:
President Donald Trump is “very pissed off” and “really hopping mad” at former aide Cliff Sims’ new book that reveals firsthand the chaos and infighting that is ever present in his White House, according to several current and former White House officials. Trump is asking aides: “Who is this guy? Why is he writing this book? He wasn’t even in meetings,” the sources said. He also dismissively refers to Sims — who served until last May Continue reading "Trump Reportedly ‘Very Pissed Off’ at Former Aide’s New White House Tell-All: ‘Who is This Guy?’"

Former White House aide Cliff Sims joined The View on Monday to hawk his new book. And during his appearance, he delved into claim that Kellyanne Conway is one of the biggest leakers within the Trump Administration. Team of Vipers, Sims’s tell-all about his time working in President Donald Trump‘s White House, has drawn a great deal of attention thanks to his insider accounts on the infighting going on in the West Wing. In one of the book’s juiciest tidbits, Simsdescribes Conway as a “cartoon villain” who anonymously backstabs her colleagues in pursuit of her own political survival above all else. As Sims explained his book to the panel, he gave props to Conway for being Trump’s fiercest media spokesperson, but he recalled feeling “offended” watching her trash her associates.
“I was offended that day because I was called to her office to help her write a Continue reading "WH Tell-All Author Explains How He Saw Kellyanne’s Leaking … While Tasked to Pen Statement That She Wasn’t Leaking"

CNN Panel: Kellyanne Safe with ‘Cable Watcher’ Trump Who’s ‘All About What is Said on his Behalf’ on TV

CNN’s New Day had a lot to say on Thursday as they talked about the news that Kellyanne Conway is a frequent White House leaker who often trashes her colleagues behinds their backs. Former Trump aide Cliff Sims has been getting a lot of attention lately over the revelations he offers in his upcoming book Team of Vipers: My 500 Extraordinary Days in the Trump White House. Even though Conway is disputing Sims’ anecdotes about her, the intrigue in his memoir reached a new level on Wednesday night when he described Conway as “cartoon villain” and a backstabber who’s mostly out for herself. When John Berman asked about the “incredibly harsh” imagery Sims presents, Joshua Green called it a “shocking” look into how leaky the Trump White House is. When Alisyn Camerota asked how Conway has been able to survive in Trump’s orbit for so long if the story is Continue reading "CNN Panel: Kellyanne Safe with ‘Cable Watcher’ Trump Who’s ‘All About What is Said on his Behalf’ on TV"

George Conway Says He Had Nothing to Do With Kellyanne’s Statement Firing Back at Cliff Sims in Vanity Fair

George Conway says he has nothing to do with a statement put out by his wife — Kellyanne Conway — firing back at former White House aide Cliff Sims, who called her a leaker in his explosive new book. From the excerpt of Sims’new book Team of Vipers: My 500 Extraordinary Days in the Trump White House, as published by Vanity Fair on Wednesday:
Over the course of 20 minutes or so, she was having simultaneous conversations with no fewer than a half-dozen reporters, most of them from outlets the White House frequently trashed for publishing “fake news.” Journalists from The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN, Politico, and Bloomberg were all popping up on the screen. And these weren’t policy conversations, or attempts to fend off attacks on the president. As I sat there trying to type, she bashed Jared Kushner, Reince Priebus, Steve Bannon, Continue reading "George Conway Says He Had Nothing to Do With Kellyanne’s Statement Firing Back at Cliff Sims in Vanity Fair"

Ex-White House Aide Says He Caught ‘Cartoon Villain’ Kellyanne Conway Leaking About Trump in Explosive Exposé

Former Trump aide Cliff Sims published an excerpt from his upcoming White House exposé in Vanity Fair, and it paints a sinister portrait of a top adviser in the administration: Kellyanne Conway. Behold, this particularly brutal paragraph from his book, Team of Vipers: My 500 Extraordinary Days in the Trump White House:
As I watched Kellyanne in operation over our time in the White House, my view of her sharpened. It became hard to look long at her without getting the sense that she was a cartoon villain brought to life. Her agenda—which was her survival over all others, including the president—became more and more transparent. Once you figured that out, everything about her seemed so calculated; every statement, even a seemingly innocuous one, seemed poll-tested by a focus group that existed inside her mind. She seemed to be perennially cloaked in an invisible fur coat, casting an Continue reading "Ex-White House Aide Says He Caught ‘Cartoon Villain’ Kellyanne Conway Leaking About Trump in Explosive Exposé"

Witness Kellyanne Conway Hold Her Most Futile Exchange Yet With a Reporter On The Definition of ‘Wall’

Senior Donald Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway got into a surreal exchange with CNN White House correspondent Abby Phillip in which Conway began by taking exception to Trump’s border wall being referred to as a “wall,” and ended with Conway insisting it was just fine to call the proposed barrier a wall. During an impromptu gaggle on the White House driveway, Phillip began to ask Conway about yet another poll showing Americans don’t support Trump shutting down the government over the border wall. “There’s a new poll out,” Phillip began, as Conway quickly cut her off. “Do you have the poll?” Conway snapped. “It’s a CBS poll,” Phillip began, as Conway cut her off again. “I just want to see the question,” Conway said. “The question was is the wall worth the government shutdown,” Phillip replied. The full question was “Do you think the issue of a border wall is Continue reading "Witness Kellyanne Conway Hold Her Most Futile Exchange Yet With a Reporter On The Definition of ‘Wall’"

Kellyanne Conway Corrects Fox News Reporter John Roberts: Trump is ‘Not Being Vicious Toward’ Pelosi

Kellyanne Conway took issue with how Fox News reporter John Roberts is characterizing the dynamic between President Donald Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Roberts spoke to Harris Faulkner from the White House on Wednesday to help cover the news that Trump will go ahead with the State of the Union next week, despite Pelosi’s recommendation that he postpone it. As Roberts delivered his report and described how the development factors into Trump and Pelosi’s dispute, he said at one point “this back and forth between the two has become so vicious that I think all bets are off here.” Harris spoke to Conway right after Roberts’ package, and early in the interview, the White House special counselor took issue with how Roberts suggested Trump was “vicious” to Pelosi. “The president is not being vicious toward Speaker Pelosi,” Conway said. “I was there in the Oval when he was Continue reading "Kellyanne Conway Corrects Fox News Reporter John Roberts: Trump is ‘Not Being Vicious Toward’ Pelosi"

Fox Business Host Charles Payne Delivers Masterclass on How to Coddle a White House Official

Fox Business host Charles Payne had the golden opportunity to interview White House adviser Kellyanne Conway for 10 minutes today. It was amidst a rush of big news, namely, BuzzFeed’s reporting that President Donald Trump personally directed his former lawyer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress. Unfortunately, he used the airtime to deliver a masterclass on coddling White House officials. Payne briefly asked about the BuzzFeed story, at the end of the interview. But he failed to ask about the most important and damning implication of the report: Did Trump obstruct justice and commit a felony by directing Cohen to lie while testifying before Congress about his plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow? Instead of addressing that question, Payne closed the segment by asking the senior Trump official if it will be “great” when Special Counsel Robert Mueller finally ends his investigation. Like a PR firm waiting for a Friday afternoon, Continue reading "Fox Business Host Charles Payne Delivers Masterclass on How to Coddle a White House Official"

George Conway Snarks at Report John Kelly Thought Trump Wasn’t Up for Job: ‘You Don’t Say’

The husband of Kellyanne Conway was at it again on Sunday, responding to a New York Times report that departing chief of staff John Kelly thought President Donald Trump wasn’t really doing an A-plus job as POTUS. On Sunday, the Times published an article by Maggie Haberman that cites two administration officials who claimed Kelly thought Trump was just not cut out for the Oval Office. As Haberman tweeted out from the article: “Mr. Kelly ‘frequently told people that Mr. Trump was not up to the role of president, according to two former administration officials.'” Responding to the news, George Conway wrote on Twitter simply: “You don’t say.” Despite being married to Trump loyalist and apologist Kellyanne Conway, George  — who is also a lawyer — has repeatedly made waves with his criticism of Trump. Kellyanne Calls Debate Over Wall a ‘Silly Semantic Argument’ After John Kelly Confesses It’s ‘Not a Wall’

Kellyanne Conway grumbled about semantics when asked in an interview about President Donald Trump‘s border wall, dismissing John Kelly‘s recent comments about the much talked about barricade. As Conway spoke to Fox News’ Sandra Smith about border security and the ongoing government shutdown, the host brought up an interview Kelly gave to LA Times where he suggested that Trump has dropped the idea of building a concrete structure that stretches across the U.S-Mexico border. “To be honest, it’s not a wall,” said Kelly. “The president still says ‘wall’ — oftentimes frankly he’ll say ‘barrier’ or ‘fencing,’ now he’s tended toward steel slats,” Kelly added. “But we left a solid concrete wall early on in the administration, when we asked people what they needed and where they needed it.” Smith noted that this fits with Trump’s new characterizations of the “wall,” so she asked Conway about the Continue reading "Kellyanne Calls Debate Over Wall a ‘Silly Semantic Argument’ After John Kelly Confesses It’s ‘Not a Wall’"
