Brett Kavanaugh’s Mother Presided Over Foreclosure Hearing Involving Accuser’s Parents

The woman behind the letter accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault, Christine Blasey Ford, has naturally been herself the subject of much news since her name was made public on Sunday. Among reports coming out, Fox News Channel’s Laura Ingraham tweeted a story a short time ago that says Ford’s parents were defendants in a case that was presided over by Brett Kavanaugh’s mother, of whom he has spoken at length during confirmation hearings. Judge Martha G. Kavanaugh was the judge for a foreclosure case in 1996 in Maryland, according to the site, which contains mostly embedded tweets from a single Twitter user but also two screenshots from Maryland’s case search site. Those shots outline a case involving Ralph and Paula Blasey, Christine Continue reading "Brett Kavanaugh’s Mother Presided Over Foreclosure Hearing Involving Accuser’s Parents"

Howard Kurtz: NYT Should Apologize to Nikki Haley and That Story Should Be ‘Obliterated’

Fox News media analyst Howard Kurtz slammed The New York Times over a recent report about Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley. The NYT reported that the curtains in Haley’s residence in New York City cost $52,701, which was funded by the State Department. But buried in the article was the fact that it was the Obama administration who ordered those curtains. Kurtz blasted the story, calling it “one of the worst headlines” he had ever seen by any newspaper and mocked the editor’s note that was added amid backlash. “What was missing is two things; one is the story should have been obliterated, blown up, digitally erased because it has no reason to being,” Kurtz told Laura Ingraham. “And there should be an apology from the paper to Nikki Haley.” Ingraham then asked “who reads the editor’s note?” noting that they’re placed at the end of the Continue reading "Howard Kurtz: NYT Should Apologize to Nikki Haley and That Story Should Be ‘Obliterated’"

Laura Ingraham, Howard Kurtz Criticize Ronan Farrow For Legitimizing Kavanaugh Allegation With TV Appearance

On Friday night, Laura Ingraham and Howard Kurtz took Ronan Farrow to task for his coverage of the misconduct allegation made against Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh. Farrow broke the story of the contents of the letter that was obtained by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) in July from a woman who alleged that Kavanaugh attempted to sexually assault her while drunk at a party in high school, something Kavanaugh has vehemently denied. It wasn’t until this week that Feinstein sent the letter by the accuser, who remains anonymous, to federal investigators. Ingraham noted how Farrow went on TV after he obtained a copy of that letter. “He’s won the Pulitzer Prize. He has a lot of credibility in reporting these issues- obviously Weinstein, what NBC did to stop that story, and other cases like it,” Ingraham said. “But I was kind of surprised he decided to kind of like Continue reading "Laura Ingraham, Howard Kurtz Criticize Ronan Farrow For Legitimizing Kavanaugh Allegation With TV Appearance"

Matt Schlapp, Antjuan Seawright Clash Over Kavanaugh: ‘Your Party Doesn’t Run the Senate Now!’

American Conservative Union chairman Matt Schlapp and Democratic strategist Antjuan Seawright had a robust debate over the pending confirmation of Judge Brett Kavanaugh. Laura Ingraham began the segment by calling out the “ridiculous” attack that Kavanaugh himself referred to birth control at the confirmation hearing as “abortion-inducing drugs,” which despite having been debunked by Politifact and The Washington Post was further shared by Hillary Clinton. While he wouldn’t say if Clinton “willfully mischaracterized” Kavanaugh, Seawright argued that some people have their “own way of interpreting things” and that the “general context” that both Clinton and Sen. Kamala Harris Continue reading "Matt Schlapp, Antjuan Seawright Clash Over Kavanaugh: ‘Your Party Doesn’t Run the Senate Now!’"

Has Laura Ingraham’s Brother Been Trashing His ‘Shameful’ Sister on Twitter for Months?

Hosting a prime-time cable news program comes with loads of perks. Political influence, privileged access to events, and significant monetary reward are just a few of the benefits that come with the territory of spending an hour each night in a well-lit television studio. A risk that comes with a pundit’s success, however, is the potential that familial relationships are ripped apart under a public microscope. Take for example Fox News host Laura Ingraham and the curious case of her brother Curtis. A Twitter account belonging to someone claiming to be her lesser-known brother has emerged as a brutally vocal critic of his sister’s politics of late, many examples of which we’ve embedded below. When reached for comment about her brother’s strident criticism of her politics on Twitter, Laura Ingraham told Mediaite:

“My siblings and I are shocked and saddened to Continue reading "Has Laura Ingraham’s Brother Been Trashing His ‘Shameful’ Sister on Twitter for Months?"

Laura Ingraham Tears Up During Emotional Town Hall About Violence in Chicago

Laura Ingraham stopped by Chicago earlier this week and filmed a town hall special, which aired Friday night. Focusing on the out-of-control gang violence, Ingraham spoke with the aunt of Demetrius Griffin Jr., a 15-year-old who was murdered in 2016 after a gang tried recruiting him. He was reportedly burned alive and his remains were found in a 55-gallon drum in an alley. Rochelle Sykes told Ingraham that his mother is “distraught” and “basically not functioning” since Demetrius was her only son. “He wasn’t in a gang. He didn’t do drugs. What was it that he could have done so bad that a monster would take his life like that?” Sykes asked. “And two blocks from his home… We have to pass that block every time we visit my mom.” Sykes told Ingraham that he was so excited for high school and to be on the swim team. Herman Cain Suggests That Someone at The New York Times Wrote The Anonymous Op-Ed

On Thursday night, former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain floated an idea that the anonymous New York Times op-ed didn’t come from the White House at all. Appearing on The Ingraham Angle, Cain and Laura Ingraham welcomed the suggestion from Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) that President Donald Trump should have everyone in the White House take a lie detector test in order to catch the op-ed author. However, there was one theory that Cain was eager to share. “There’s one thing no one has brought up,” Cain said. “What if somebody inside The New York Times wrote it?”No one has ever brought that up.” That idea seemed to startle the Fox News host. “That would be perpetrating a complete fraud on the American public,” Ingraham reacted. “You think they did that?” “I didn’t say ‘I thought they did,'” Cain responded. “I’m saying that’s not being talked about. But Continue reading "Herman Cain Suggests That Someone at The New York Times Wrote The Anonymous Op-Ed"
