GOP Chair Ronna McDaniel Calls Out Maxine Waters After Ted Cruz Harassed at Dinner

On Monday night, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) was harassed out of a restaurant by “unhinged” protesters while having dinner with his wife. On Tuesday, GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel tweeted about it. “The Democrat Party of Maxine Waters is completely unhinged,” said McDaniel about the incident. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has repeatedly called for and supported public harassment of GOP members and people who work for the Trump administration. But she is not alone. The GOP released a video, titled “Unhinged”, showing clips of violence mixed with clips of speeches and comments from prominent democrats earlier this year. The word unhinged will show up a lot more between now and election day. [Featured image via screengrab] — Follow Caleb Howe (@CalebHowe) on Twitter

FNC’s Bill Hemmer Grills RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel Over Party’s Election Prospects: ‘The Midterms Could Be Really Tough’

RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel appears convinced that President Donald Trump is the secret sauce that will lead Republicans to more victories in 2018, but Bill Hemmer did his best to pump the brakes and give McDaniel a reality check. “Let’s talk about Ohio 12,” Hemmer said. “This is a district the president card carried by 11 points, I think Mitt Romney carried it by 10. Why would it even be this close, Ronna?” “I think that’s a really tough comparison,” McDaniel said. “When President Trump won, 377,000 voters turned out. It was a presidential year. Compare that to a special election in August a week before school starts, just isn’t fair. So only 200,000 voters turned out last night. It was about ground game, it was about turning out your vote and Republicans turned out.” “Do you think the visit on Saturday even kept this thing close?” Continue reading "FNC’s Bill Hemmer Grills RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel Over Party’s Election Prospects: ‘The Midterms Could Be Really Tough’"

Twitter Appears to Have Updated Search Results of Top GOPers After Vice News Reports on ‘Shadow Banning’

Twitter was recently approached about alleged “shadow banning” of prominent conservative users and while they didn’t exactly deny the allegations, the social media giant appears to have made changes to its platform after a recently-issued report by Vice News. The term “shadow banning” is used to describe Twitter users who haven’t been banned from the platform but their visibility is heavily diminished. The company has previously claimed such techniques are meant for trolls and racists. Vice News politics editor Alex Thompson discovered that several top Republicans were not appearing in the auto-populated drop-down search box including RNC chairwoman Ronna McDanielDonald Trump Jr.’s spokesman Andrew Surabian, and Reps. Mark Meadows (R-NC), Jim Jordan (R-OH), and Matt Gaetz (R-FL). He then compared those results to prominent Democrats including DNC chairman Tom Perez and Reps. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and Keith Ellison (D-MN). Thompson documented his findings with screenshots. Thompson presented Twitter with

RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel Blasted For Ominous Demand of Loyalty to Trump: ‘Is This a Threat?’

Ronna McDaniel‘s Wednesday night tweet about “complacency” sent a collective chill down the media’s spine. The RNC chairwoman said that anybody who doesn’t get on the MAGA bandwagon “will be making a mistake,” a choice of phrase which sparked confusion, anger, and plenty of scorn. At a time in which the GOP is divided amongst itself as to whether to continue to support President Donald Trump unflinchingly or look to more moderate leadership for guidance and hope for the future, McDaniel’s words rang like an eldritch bell chime – or simply a clumsy attempt at a threat:

RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel: Claiming Russia Helped Trump is ‘Dangerous For Our Democracy’

Ronna McDaniel, niece of Mitt and chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, appeared on Fox & Friends Thursday morning alongside Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale. When asked to respond to former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper‘s comments that Russia interfered in the election and threw it to Donald Trump, McDaniel went off. She hailed Trump’s campaign and bashed in Clinton’s, calling her out of touch. “I continue to think it’s a joke,” Parscale, who ran Trump’s skeletal digital strategy in 2016, investing heavily in Facebook. “I think these people take these reports from these liberal media that just make up stories.” “This is just a witch hunt,” Parscale said, referring to the investigation into the Trump campaign’s Russia ties. “It is dangerous for our democracy for them to continue to delegitimize the voters of this country,” McDaniel said. “18 months later!” Fox & Continue reading "RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel: Claiming Russia Helped Trump is ‘Dangerous For Our Democracy’"

RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel Slams Clinton: Being ‘Out of Touch’ Was ‘Only Reason She Lost’

GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel was on Fox News today to talk about the future of the Republican Party… so of course, she talked about eternal nemesis of conservatives: Hillary Clinton. McDaniel appeared on the curvy couch along with President Trump‘s re-election campaign manager, Brad Parscale. As they talked about alleged conservative censorship on social media (yes, Diamond & Silk came up) and the GOP’s prospects in the midterm elections, McDaniel was asked for her opinion on former DNI chief James Clapper saying Russia swung the election in Trump’s favor. McDaniel didn’t like that, and the conversation inevitably turned towards the person Trump vanquished over a year and a half ago:
“It’s so false and James Clapper is trying to cover himself right now because he is in the hot seat. I ran Michigan. Hillary Clinton was not in our state. She did not bring a message to the voters Continue reading "RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel Slams Clinton: Being ‘Out of Touch’ Was ‘Only Reason She Lost’"
