Morning Joe Slams Trump For ‘Blatant Racism’ Of LaVar Ball Tweet

President Donald Trump took to Twitter yesterday to suggest that perhaps he should have left those three UCLA basketball players to rot in a Chinese prison. This came after LaVar Ball, father to one of the players, seemed to dismiss Trump’s role in the release. Yeah. LaVar Ball and Donald Trump are beefing. Welcome to peak 2017. You know Morning Joe got in on this squabble, suggesting that Trump practiced “blatant racism” by asking for fealty from a black man, noting that he went as far as to call Ball “very ungrateful.” “This is our president,” host Mika Brzezinski said, as co-host Joe Scarborough loudly sighed in the background. “There’s racist overtures here,” Scarborough added. “The black man was not appreciative of what the white man did for him and it’s a dog whistle to say the least.” “A lot of times you have latent racism and it Continue reading "Morning Joe Slams Trump For ‘Blatant Racism’ Of LaVar Ball Tweet"

NFL Player Sits for Star Spangled Banner But Stands for Mexican National Anthem

While playing in Mexico, NFL player Marshawn Lynch remained seated for Star Spangled Banner, but chose to stand for the Mexican national anthem. The protest by the Oakland Raiders running back went viral on Twitter, as many noted the Lynch’s reaction to his home country’s anthem and the foreign country’s. Though, this move was not entirely surprising, as the player has remained seated or otherwise protested every single pregame performance of the national anthem since the beginning of the season. Lynch was the only NFL player to protest the national anthem while playing in Mexico City, Mexico this week. Following President Donald Trump’s initial attack on NFL players who protest — in which he referred to them as “sons of bitches” — kneeling for the Star Spangled Banner Continue reading "NFL Player Sits for Star Spangled Banner But Stands for Mexican National Anthem"

The 11th NFL Sunday of the season wraps up with a fascinating NFC East showdown with high stakes. It’s the Dallas Cowboys vs. the Philadelphia Eagles in Arlington, TX, in a game that’s certain to draw an enormous audience. The Cowboys, at 5-4, are in a bit of trouble — given both the competitiveness of the NFC, and the injury and suspension depletions to their roster. Ezekiel Elliott is sitting out the second of his six games for domestic violence on Sunday night. Linebacker Sean Lee is out, and reports have star left tackle Tyron Smith out as well. Still, there is talent on the roster. Quarterback Dak Prescott will try to put some points on the board, as the Cowboys figure to need lots of them to match a potent Eagles attack. The Eagles own the best record in the NFL at 8-1. Second year quarterback Carson Wentz is Continue reading "How to Watch Cowboys-Eagles NFL Sunday Night Football Live Stream Online"

LaVar Ball Brushes Off Trump’s Role in UCLA Players’ Release From China: ‘Who?’

It was really only a matter of time, wasn’t it? Days after three UCLA basketball players returned home to the United States after being detained in China over shoplifting charges, the father of one of the players sounded off to ESPN and completely downplayed President Donald Trump’s role in securing the players’ release. LaVar Ball — a guy who courts controversy as if it is his very lifeblood — was asked by ESPN about Trump’s involvement in bringing his son LiAngelo Ball and two other UCLA freshmen home. And he answered in the most LaVar way possible. “Who?” Ball exclaimed. “What was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.” During a trip to China earlier this month for a game, the three players were held on suspicion of shoplifting as they were accused of stealing from Continue reading "LaVar Ball Brushes Off Trump’s Role in UCLA Players’ Release From China: ‘Who?’"

How to Watch Michigan-Wisconsin College Football Live Stream Online

When is Wisconsin going to get any respect? An undefeated Big 10 team in November doesn’t expect to face questions about its legitimacy. But the Badgers are still, if the season ended today, on the outside looking in of the college football playoff. They’ll try to score an impressive win Saturday, when they take on Michigan at Camp Randall Stadium. The problem for No. 5 Wisconsin, at 10-0, has been the fact that their schedule this season doesn’t include either of the top teams in the conference, Penn State and Ohio State. They’ll get a shot at one of those two squads in the conference title game. But until then, they’ll need to deal with skeptics. The Badgers can quiet some of their critics, though, with a decisive win against a perennial power in Michigan. The Wolverines have gotten back on track after being on the wrong end of an Continue reading "How to Watch Michigan-Wisconsin College Football Live Stream Online"
