Tom Brady’s Missing Super Bowl Jersey Found in Possession of Media Member, FBI Investigating

Capture (2) After a weeks-long search involving several law enforcement agencies including the FBI, Tom Brady‘s missing Super Bowl jersey has been recovered. According to NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy, the jersey was found in the possession of an international media member. The NFL declined to comment further because the investigation into the matter is ongoing. Because of the Patriots’ historic Super Bowl comeback victory, the jersey had both great sentimental value to Brady, and great financial value on the open market. In the commotion following the New England Patriots’ stunning victory in Super Bowl LI on Feb. 5, the jersey worn by the game’s MVP went missing and remains unaccounted for. This obviously isn’t just any article of clothing. According to a police report, the jersey’s value is estimated to be $500,000. So Brady is obviously interested in seeing to its return. To that end, he’s rolling up his sleeves and getting to work in an effort to find the perpetrator. He’s got suspects.

Despite being the owner of a team which has won five Super Bowls over the past two decades, New England Patriots Robert Kraft still acknowledges his team’s “haters.” In a taped interview set to premiere tonight on HBO’s Real Sports, Kraft had a few words for the many critics of his franchise. “Envy and jealousy are incurable diseases,” Kraft said. “The haters still hate. And I understand it, and we’ll do our best to keep them in that position.” Much of the animosity towards the Patriots stems from the Deflate-gate scandal, for which quarterback Tom Brady was suspended four games to start the 2016 season. ‘Everybody Has Their Own Choice’: Tom Brady Says He’s Fine With Teammates Skipping White House

Six New England Patriots have announced plans to skip the White House ceremony honoring the team later this year. Four have the six have cited President Donald Trump or overall political reasons when announcing their decision not to attend. Three longtime stalwarts of the team, owner Robert Kraft, coach Bill Belichick, and quarterback Tom Brady are all friends with the 45th President. On Tuesday, Brady said that despite his friendship with Trump, he personally isn’t bothered by his teammates who are opting not to attend. An Atlanta Zoo Actually Named a Cockroach ‘Tom Brady’

On Monday, we posted about a Mardi Gras float taunting the Atlanta Falcons for their Super Bowl collapse, blowing a 28-3 lead to lose to the Patriots. As a result of a lost bet, the city will have to deal with yet another reminder of their team’s epic collapse — this time in the form of a cockroach. The Associated Press reports that Zoo Atlanta had a Super Bowl wager with the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Rhode Island. It was agreed that the losing city would have to name an animal after the winner’s star quarterback. Per the report, the zoos — figuring that the losing city would be upset by the result — opted to designate a Madagascar hissing cockroach as the animal to be named.
