Sen. Bernie Sanders battled it out with Bret Baier on Monday, demanding to know if Fox News host would ask President Donald Trump about his taxes too.
It all happened during a Fox News Town Hall with the Democratic Senator and 2020 Presidential candidate.
A student named Joe Basrawi asked Sanders about his own taxes, which show he is now a millionaire.
Sanders replied by saying he got that money writing a “good book.”
“You raised the issue I’m a millionaire,” the Senator said. “Actually this year we had $560,000 in income. That’s a lot of money, and that money, in my case, my wife’s case, it came from a book that I wrote, pretty good book, you might want to read it.”
He added: “If anyone thinks that I should apologize for writing a best-selling book, I’m sorry, I’m not going to do it.”

Hillary Clinton ripped Donald Trump over the revelation that he lost nearly a billion dollars in a single year and may have used the enormous loss to avoid paying income tax for close to 20 years, according to a bombshell report in the New York Times.

“In other words Trump was taking from America with both hands and leaving the rest of us with the bill,” she said.
She continued: “He has put forth a tax plan that would cut his own taxes even more. It would be like, ‘You’re Continue reading "Clinton: ‘What Kind of Genius Loses a Billion Dollars In a Single Year?’"
House Democrats took advantage of an IRS hearing Wednesday to press the embattled IRS commissioner about Donald Trump‘s taxes, The Hill reported.
The hearing was on whether or not IRS Commissioner John Koskinen should be impeached.
“Is there anything that would prohibit someone from releasing their tax returns, if they want to, because they’re under audit?” Rep. Jerry Nadlerasked the commissioner.
“No,” Koskinen said.
The IRS has already said there is nothing about an audit that would prevent someone from releasing their tax returns.
Trump and his surrogates have repeatedly said the candidate will not release his tax returns because he is under audit. A blunt editorial in the New York Times Wednesday called Trump’s excuse “stupid.”
Trump has not released tax returns for years no longer under audit and, furthermore, has not produced proof that he is even under audit.
Trump’s critics have noted that without his returns Continue reading "House Dems Use IRS Hearing to Raise Questions About Trump’s Tax Returns"
