How to Watch 2019 U.S. Open First Round Live Stream Online Round 1 of the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach is in the books. And the course — historically one of the most challenging in America — proved gettable, yielding some extremely low scores. Justin Rose leads the way at -6, shooting a superb round of 65 while playing with Tiger Woods on Thursday afternoon. Woods was wayward with his approach shots all day, but managed to hang in there thanks to a hot putter and shot 70 to keep himself within striking distance. A number of pursuers are at -5, notably Ricky Fowler — whose major championship breakthrough has been long-awaited, but not yet fulfilled. And Brooks Koepka, looking for his third straight U.S. Open title, is very much in the hunt at -2. Now, it’s on to Round 2. Undoubtedly, Pebble Beach will only get tougher from here. Television coverage begins at 12:30 p.m. ET Continue reading "How to Watch — 2019 U.S. Open Golf Second Round Live Stream Online"

President Donald Trump is going after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for accusing the commander-in-chief of participating in a criminal cover-up. Pelosi made the remark at a news conference on Thursday. “I believe that he’s been involved in a criminal cover-up,” she said. Friday on Fox & Friends, Trump — in response to Pelosi — referenced and echoed comments made by conservative radio host Mark Levin earlier in the show. “I will go with what Mark Levin said ’cause nobody could say it better. It’s a fascist statement, it’s a disgraceful statement,” Trump said. He added, “For her to make a statement like that, it’s outrageous.”

Later in the segment, Trump circled back to Pelosi — this time accusing her of a criminal act for opposing the construction of a southern border wall. “We won a big lawsuit on the wall, brought by Nancy Pelosi,” Trump said. “This one Continue reading "Trump Rages at ‘Criminal’ Pelosi: ‘A Fascist Statement’ to Accuse Me of Cover-Up"

Kellyanne Conway was deemed, by the Office of Special Counsel on Thursday, to have committed repeated multiple violations of the Hatch Act — a law which prohibits Federal employees from engaging in partisan political activity. Three years ago, 2020 presidential contender Julian Castro — then working as HUD secretary in President Barack Obama‘s administration — was found to have violated the same act. Bret Baier of Fox News wanted to know: What is the difference? The Special Report anchor posed the question to Castro at a Fox News town hall on Thursday night. “Today, a federal watchdog agency recommended that White House counselor Kellyanne Conway be fired for violating the Hatch Act,” Baier said. “Essentially campaigning while in federal office. When you were HUD secretary, the same agency accused you of the same thing. President Obama gave you a pass. Should President [Donald] Trump give Kellyanne Conway Continue reading "Fox’s Baier Confronts Julian Castro on Hatch Act: Obama ‘Gave You a Pass,’ Shouldn’t Kellyanne Conway Get One?"

How to Watch NBA Finals Golden State Warriors Against the Toronto Raptors We have a series. Facing elimination on Monday night, Golden State survived — taking down Toronto in Game 5 of the NBA Finals 106-105. With the Warriors now trailing three games to two, they head home for their last ever game in the Oracle Arena, to try to extend the series to a deciding Game 7. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were magnificent on Monday — pouring in 31 and 26 points respectively. Unfortunately for Golden State, Kevin Durant suffered a devastating achilles injury in the game, and is out not only on Thursday night, but for all of next season. Toronto had the championship-clincher within its grasp on Monday night, but could not finish the job. Kyle Lowry had a look at a 3-pointer from the right wing which would have earned Toronto its first NBA title in franchise history. But the shot missed badly, and the Raptors fell Continue reading "How to Watch NBA Finals Game 6 Golden State vs. Toronto Live Stream Online"

Fox’s Cavuto Questions ‘Odd’ Timing of Sarah Sanders Exit: Is Trump ‘Pointing the Finger’ at Her for ABC Interview?

Neil Cavuto finds the timing of Sarah Huckabee Sanders‘ White House departure announcement to be somewhat curious. Speaking moments after the news broke on Thursday’s edition of Your World, Cavuto questioned whether the Sanders exit has anything to do with President Donald Trump’s widely-panned interview with George Stephanopoulos of ABC. “The timing of this is odd,” Cavuto said. “Just after the George Stephanopoulos interview with the president — this hypothetical came up about would you accept intelligence from a foreign source? And the president, of course, reacted the way he did. He said yeah, I’d be open to it. Maybe he’s pointing the finger, why did you get me into this, Sarah Sanders?” Cavuto went on to note the long drought between press briefings — but absolved Sanders of blame. “Many have expressed frustration in the media that the president doesn’t hold as many press conferences, that Continue reading "Fox’s Cavuto Questions ‘Odd’ Timing of Sarah Sanders Exit: Is Trump ‘Pointing the Finger’ at Her for ABC Interview?"

How to Watch 2019 U.S. Open First Round Live Stream Online Pictured above is one of the most famous and visually arresting golf holes in the world — the 7th at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, CA. But for all of its beauty, this short par-3 has plenty bite. And so too do the other 17 holes which will decide the 2019 U.S. Open. Yes, golf’s national championship returns to its most storied venue. A venue at which the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, and Tiger Woods have all previously triumphed. Tiger is looking for a repeat of historic 2000 conquest this week. But, of course, a 15 stroke win seems rather improbable at this stage of his career. Still, he’s very much a threat this week, fresh off his remarkable Masters victory in April. The favorite, though, has to be Brooks Koepka — the two-time defending U.S. Open champion. Koepka, save for a Continue reading "How to Watch — 2019 U.S. Open Golf First Round Live Stream Online"

Beware the Wrath of Trump: Poll Shows Pro-Impeachment GOP Rep. Amash Down 16 to Unheralded Primary Foe

The GOP has presented a near-united front on the question of whether the House should pursue impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump — with almost the entire caucus siding against. And if any Republicans were thinking about breaking ranks, they might think twice after seeing a new primary poll involving the one House GOP member who has come out in favor of impeachment. According to a new poll conducted by Practical Political Consulting (via Michigan news site MIRS), Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) finds himself trailing big to his unheralded primary foe — state Rep. Jim Lower. According to the survey, Amash is down 16 points to Lower, 49-33. This news comes amid a Politico report that the president is considering backing a primary challenge to Amash. Trump has reportedly discussed the possibility with Vice President Mike Pence, leading GOP rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC), and RNC chair Ronna McDaniel. MSNBC Prez Meets With NY Times Editor to Discuss Reported Maddow Ban MSNBC president Phil Griffin reportedly sat down with New York Times executive editor Dean Baquet in an effort to get the paper’s journalists back on The Rachel Maddow Show amid what is said to be a Times-implemented ban. According to a report from CNN’s Brian Stelter, Griffin and Baquet sat down last week for a “lengthy lunch.” But Stelter — reporting through four sources with knowledge of the meeting — states that the situation remains at an impasse. This news follows a May 30 report from Vanity Fair in which the Times was said to be steering journalists away from Maddow and other cable shows it deems to be too partisan. Other programs cited in the Vanity Fair piece include; CNN Tonight with Don Lemon, MSNBC’s The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell, and Hannity on Fox News (though Times journalists have seldom been invited on Fox Continue reading "MSNBC President Reportedly Met With NY Times Editor to Get Writers Back on Maddow After Alleged Ban"

The United States Women’s National Soccer Team got their 2019 World Cup off to a tremendous start Tuesday — routing Thailand by an eye-popping 13-0 margin. But they are facing criticism from some for continuing to exert maximum effort to score late in the contest, and for what critics have deemed to be excessive celebration for the late-match goals. On the Canadian sports channel TSN, a panel comprised of ex-Canadian national team members slammed the U.S. squad for running up the score and excessively celebrating the last few tallies. “For me, it is disrespectful,” said former Canadian player Kaylyn Kyle. “It is disgraceful. Hats off to Thailand for holding their head high.

Even U.S. cable news has gotten in on the debate. Wednesday on Fox & Friends, Brian Kilmeade took the national team to task. “I just think it was way too much scoring, way too much

Fox’s Napolitano Shreds House Dems for Calling John Dean to Testify: ‘It’s Indefensible’

In the opinion of Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano, John Dean has no business appearing before the United States Congress on Monday. Speaking on Mornings With Maria just hours ahead of Dean’s scheduled testimony before the House Judiciary Committee, Napolitano blasted the Democrats’ for what he sees as a strategic mistake. “To me, it’s indefensible,” Napolitano said. Napolitano spelled out what he believes to be the strategy of House Democrats — that they will try to draw parallels between Dean and President Donald Trump‘s former White House counsel, Don McGahn. The downside for Democrats, according to Napolitano? Republicans on the committee will be allowed to tee off of Dean’s time serving under Richard Nixon. “I think it’s going to be a negative for the Democrats at the end of the day by the time the Republicans finish interrogating him,” Napolitano said. “And of course, they can Continue reading "Fox’s Napolitano Shreds House Dems for Calling John Dean to Testify: ‘It’s Indefensible’"

Trump Rails Against Tech Giants When Asked If They Should Be Broken Up: ‘They Discriminate Against Me’

Break up big tech? During an interview on CNBC Monday morning, anchor Joe Kernen asked President Donald Trump about whether tech behemoths should be broken up. “Do you think Facebook, and Google, and Amazon, are these companies too big now?” Kernen asked. “Do you think the antitrust scrutiny is warranted and do you think they should be broken up?” The president took the opportunity to rant against the tech giants — and baselessly accused them of colluding with Democrats. “Well I can tell you they discriminate against me,” Trump said. “You know, people talk about collusion. The real collusion is between the Democrats and these companies. ‘Cause they were so against me during my election run. “Everybody said, if you don’t have them, you can’t win. Well, I won. And I’ll win again.” Watch above via CNBC.

Kellyanne Conway Attacks: Unlike John Dean, I Don’t Plan on Going to Jail For Obstruction of Justice

Kellyanne Conway is on the warpath — going on the attack against former Nixon White House counsel John Dean ahead of his Congressional testimony. During a segment on Fox & Friends Monday, Brian Kilmeade opened the door for Conway to go off on Dean by snarking about his testimony after Conway blasted Congressional Democrats for not allowing the White House a briefing room at Capitol Hill for an update on opioid legislation. “They’re using it for John Dean’s makeup room,” Kilmeade said — sarcastically explaining why the House can’t spare space for an opioid briefing. That was all Conway needed to go off on a Dean rant — during which she, unprompted, brought up the idea of being sent to jail for obstruction. (Dean served four months in a Federal safe house in 1974 for obstruction of justice relating to Watergate.) “It’s really something,” Conway said. “I’ve never been Continue reading "Kellyanne Conway Attacks: Unlike John Dean, I Don’t Plan on Going to Jail For Obstruction of Justice"

It’s a series. That’s the clear takeaway from the first three games of the 2019 NBA Finals. Anyone who thought the Golden State Warriors would waltz to their their straight NBA title and fifth in the last six years was sorely mistaken. The Toronto Raptors, by virtue of a big win on Wednesday night in Game 3, have a two games to one edge in the best-of-seven — and a chance to put a stranglehold on the series Friday night before returning to Toronto for Game 5 on Monday. Golden State has been hampered by injuries throughout the series, and Toronto took advantage of the opportunity on Wednesday night. Despite a fantastic game from Stephen Curry, who scored 47 points, the Warriors went down to defeat at home, 123-109. Kawhi Leonard led the way for the Eastern Conference champions with 30, while Kyle Lowry added 23. As was the case Continue reading "How to Watch NBA Finals Game 4 Golden State vs. Toronto Live Stream Online"

Rudy Giuliani Dares House Dems to Investigate Him Rudy Giuliani is, at least outwardly, appearing defiant in response to a report that House Democrats are considering investigating him for his attempts to dig up dirt on Joe Biden in Ukraine. Speaking to the Daily Beast in response to their exclusive report on the possible House investigation, President Donald Trump‘s attorney put forth an aggressive stance. “If they want to come after me, I gladly accept it, because we could just make the Biden stuff bigger news,” Giuliani told The Daily Beast. “Do it! Give me a chance to give a couple speeches about it and hold a press conference. I’d love that.” The House, if it proceeds, would look into Giuliani’s efforts to encourage Ukraine to explore ties between the ex-vice president’s son, Hunter Biden, and a gas company owned by a Ukrainian magnate. Giuliani told The New York Times his actions were above board. Continue reading "Rudy Giuliani Dares House Dems to Investigate Him For Trying Dig Up Ukrainian Biden Dirt: ‘Do it!’"

Like the rest of us, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is pretty shocked that she’s working with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX). “It’s super bizarre” the congresswoman admitted to Emma Vigeland of The Young Turks — in an interview posted online Wednesday. “Really weird.” But, according to Ocasio-Cortez, it is actually happening. The freshman House Democrat reports that her legislative team is meeting with the Texas senator’s, and the two sides are genuinely trying to work in concert on an effort to ban former members of Congress from serving as lobbyists. “I think it really shows what the true spirit of not being partisan is,” she said. “And that bipartisanship doesn’t mean let’s come together to go to war and lower taxes on the rich. But bipartisanship means, okay, I will swallow all of my distaste in this situation. Because we have found a common interest.” The two initially came Continue reading "‘Super Bizarre’: Ocasio-Cortez Says She’s ‘Encouraged’ By Unlikely Bipartisan Talks With Ted Cruz"

Pelosi Wants to See Trump in Jail House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s conservative stance on the subject of impeachment has put her at odds with some members of her caucus. But based on some newly-reported comments, it seems the leading Democrat is ready to up the ante real quick. According to Politico, Pelosi — in a closed-door meeting with leading Democrats including House Judiciary chair Jerrold Nadler — stood firm in her position of not wanting to pursue impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump. Why? Because she wants him behind bars. “I don’t want to see him impeached, I want to see him in prison,” Pelosi said — according to multiple sources identified by Politico identified as Democrats familiar with the meeting. Pelosi’s reasoning, according to Politico, is that she would rather Trump lose the White House in the 2020 election, and then prosecuted. This story is breaking.

“I just left some very good people that are very much involved with Brexit, as you know. And I think that’ll all work out. It will all work out very well. And also for you, with your wall, your border. I mean, we have a border situation in the United States and you have one over here. But I hear it’s going to work out very well.” Those were the words of President Donald Trump, on Wednesday, to Ireland’s Prime Minister Leo Varadkar. And in the view of Rachel Maddow, they were very foolish words. In a scathing monologue on her show Wednesday night, the MSNBC host lit up the president for extolling the virtues of walls to Varadkar — a man who, as anyone with an elementary grasp of Brexit or Irish history would know, is very much is opposed to walls.
