Fox News’ Tucker Carlson devoted time on his Wednesday evening show to a blogger “who wrote them looks in retrospect like a prophet calling for America First policies at least a decade before Donald Trump entered politics.” That blogger, he said, was none other than MSNBC’s Joy Reid, who he described as the “now totally dogmatic race-baiting MSNBC weekend host.” He then said this: “According to the Internet archive, Joy Reid apparently posted those views on a now defunct blog a decade ago. She wouldn’t do that now…MSNBC would fire her right away for the crime of independent thinking.” He then suggested Reid may once again blame a hacker or “do the unexpected and admit that there was a time before the revolution currently in progress when she was actually kind of smart and reasonable. We await her explanation.” Watch above, via Fox News. [image Continue reading "Tucker Carlson Mocks Newly Uncovered Joy Reid Blog Posts: ‘Like a Prophet Calling for America First Policies’"

President Donald Trump tweeted out Wednesday evening that it was “great” to meet with Kim Kardashian West in the White House. He also added a picture of the pair posing in the Oval Office. Earlier today, Vanity Fair reported that after “months of talks between Jared Kushner and Kim Kardashian is set to culminate in a meeting with President Trump, in which the reality-TV star will ask him to pardon a 62-year-old great-grandmother serving a life sentence without parole for a first-time drug offense.” Alice Marie Johnson, the grandmother whose case likely came up, was expected to be released during the Obama administration, however, she was not among those granted clemency. Kardashian has previously called Johnson’s situation “unfair.”

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders showed a bit of her softer, emotional side on Wednesday after a kid reporter asked her a question about school shootings. “At my school, we recently had a lockdown drill. One thing that affects my and other students’ mental health is the worry about we or our friends could get shot at school. Specifically, could you tell me what the administration has done or will do to prevent these senseless tragedies?” Benje Choucroun, a 13-year-old reporting for Time for Kids, asked. Sanders, who prior to that had been brusque with the adult reporters in the room, actually seemed to choke up a bit. “As a kid, and certainly as a parent, there is nothing that could be more terrifying for a kid to go to school and not feel safe, so I’m sorry that you feel that way,” Sanders replied, with Continue reading "WATCH: Sarah Sanders Gets Emotional After Kid Reporter Asks About School Shootings"

President Donald Trump‘s lawyer Rudy Giuliani warned on Wednesday that if Special Counsel Robert Mueller does not end the investigation by September 1, he’s “clearly doing a Comey.” Giuliani’s remarks were made during comments to the press and reported by CNN and other outlets. Asked about whether he may fire Mueller, Trump’s lawyer noted, “I don’t think he’s going to fire Mueller, Mueller is creating his own problems.” He then called on Mueller to end his probe by September 1. “Well, if he doesn’t file his report by September 1, mid-September, he’s clearly doing a Comey,” Giuliani stressed, referring to ex-FBI Director James Comey. Earlier this month, Giuliani told The New York Times that Mueller himself hoped that the obstruction probe would be wrapped up by September 1. In his latest talk with reporters today, Bloomberg noted that Giuliani is now saying that the probe should be wrapped Continue reading "Rudy Giuliani: Mueller Would Be ‘Doing a Comey’ If He Doesn’t Finish by September"

RNC spokesperson Kayleigh McEnany doesn’t think President Donald Trump should have to speak out specifically about Roseanne Barr‘s racist remarks. After all, at least according to McEnany, he has already “categorically denounced” racism. Speaking to The Evening Edit‘s Liz MacDonald on Fox Business on Wednesday, McDonald first noted that MSNBC’s Joy Reid did not lose her job for homophobic posts alleged found on her blog before asking McEnany her thoughts on Trump not denouncing Trump’s racism. “The president has come out multiple times saying he denounces all racism,” McEnany replied. “We all denounce racism, that would include the president.” She then added Sanders is “spot on” when she points out the double standard in the media and that is to”denounce hate wherever we see it” rather than giving anti-Trumpers “free passes.” The RNC spox then concluded that, “I don’t think the president has to go around Continue reading "Kayleigh McEnany: Trump Doesn’t Need to Condemn Roseanne, He’s ‘Denounced Racism Categorically’"

On Wednesday, CNN’s Van Jones responded to President Donald Trump’s tweet kvetching that ABC’s Bob Iger apologized to Valerie Jarrett after Roseanne Barr‘s tweetstorm but did not apologize to him for “the horrible statements made and said about me on ABC.” Speaking during a panel on The Lead With Jake Tapper, Jones was asked about Trump using the moment to try to make a case for media bias against him. Jones started by acknowledging that media bias is a real issue. Things got heated between reporters and rally-goers at President Donald Trump‘s rally in Nashville on Tuesday night. New York Times reporter Julie Hirschfeld Davis recalled the “depressing” site of a young child shouting “fake news” at them and deeming the press the enemy. Responding to the tense exchanges and verbal battering aimed at the press on Wednesday,  CNN’s Jim Acosta described the “surreal” experience of being a member of the media berated by Trump fans while Elton John‘s Tiny Dancer played in the background. Yet, he also claimed things Continue reading "Watch a Trump Rally-Goer Berate Jim Acosta: ‘You Work for CNN! You’re a Scumbag!’"

A sick active shooter game that allowed players to shoot students and police officers inside a school has been removed from a gaming site after families of school shooting victims and hundreds of thousands online expressed outrage. The game Active Shooter, which allows players to choose between being the active shooter or a member of the SWAT team was set to be released on June 6 on Steam, a gaming platform owned by Washington-based Valve. Ryan Petty, who lost his 14-year-old daughter Alaina Petty in the Parkland shooting in February, dubbed the game “despicable.” Another Parkland father, Fred Guttenberg, who lost his daughter Jaime Guttenberg, also slammed the game.

Judge Jeanine Pirro called out those she deemed “liars, leakers and liberals” by name on Saturday during a bonkers opening monologue on Justice With Judge Jeanine. Naming former FBI Director Jim Comey, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former President Barack Obama, former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, former CIA Director John Brennan , former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and former National Security Advisor Susan Rice as those who have attempted to frame President Donald Trump, she accused the lot of being “liars not able to keep their story straight.” “The Obama administration was so determined to get Hillary Clinton elected and Donald Trump defeated that they let Hillary skate on her criminal activity and created a narrative of criminal activity on the part of Donald Trump,” Pirro opined, pointing at Obama as the “Big Kahuna” who orchestrated the spread of information and leaks Continue reading "Jeanine Pirro to ‘Liars, Leakers and Liberals’ Trying to Frame Trump: Try It on ‘Someone Who’s Dumber Than You’"

President Donald Trump met with recently released American Josh Holt on Saturday night in the Oval Office where Holt expressed his gratitude for the Trump administration and others who had intervened on behalf of a “normal person” to secure his freedom. “I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude for you guys, for everything that you’ve done,” Holt said, noting it was “very, very difficult two years.” He also joked that serving time in Venezuela was “not really the great vacation that I was looking for.” Trump responded by calling Holt brave. “You’ve been very brave, actually, you’ve been incredibly brave,” Trump told Holt. “We saw what was happening inside of that prison, so you really have been very, very brave.” Holt traveled to Venezuela in 2016 to marry Venezuelan Thamara Caleño but was arrested on charges of stockpiling weapons and attempting to destabilize the government. Both Holt and his Continue reading "American Josh Holt Says He’s ‘Overwhelmed with Gratitude’ for His Release from Venezuelan Prison"

On Saturday, Tomi Lahren and Jesse Watters teamed up to swap stories of the “intolerant” left throwing water on them. It all started when Watters played a clip of Lahren getting water thrown on her in a now-viral clip during his Watters’ World show. Lahren quipped that viewing the water attack was “still traumatic” and then blamed “intolerant” liberals for being willing to stoop to a new low. “It was water and it’s not the end of the world. It just shows the unloving and intolerant left and their true colors,” Lahren opined. “The fact that they are proud of it, they wanted to post it online, yeah that’s a new low, but hey that’s the left.” Watters then shared a similar story that happened in Manhattan the night of the presidential election. “I was at a bar on Election Night 2016 watching Trump win and obviously getting excited Continue reading "Tomi Lahren and Jesse Watters Swap Stories of ‘Intolerant’ Leftists Throwing Water on Them"

During an Oval Office meeting and photo-op with freed Josh Holt, the American who was held as a prisoner in Venezuela since 2016, President Donald Trump once again doubled down on his claims that the North Korean summit would go on as planned despite canceling it earlier this week. After greeting Holt and calling on Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) and others to speak about the work involved in getting the American freed Saturday night, Trump moved the discussion to renewed talks concerning the once-canceled North Korean Summit. “We are doing very well in terms of the Summit with North Korea,” he said, directing his comments to the media. “Looks like it’s going along very well. As you know, there are meetings going on as we speak in a certain location which I won’t name, but you’d like the location. It’s not so far away from here.” He then added: Continue reading "Trump Once Again Says North Korea Summit Still in Works: ‘We are Looking at June 12 in Singapore’"

Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates is sounding the alarms about President Donald Trump‘s recent demands for an investigation into whether or not the “FBI/DOJ” spied on his campaign. On May 20, Trump called for an investigation into “whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes – and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!” Branding it “Spygate,” he also warned a few days later, the presence of spies in his campaign “could be one of the biggest political scandals in history!”

A retired English teacher wrote a letter to the White House. In response, she received a letter back signed by President Donald Trump. Yet, according to Yvonne Mason, the content of the White House’s response would not have gotten very high marks in her classroom and if it had been turned in by a high schooler, it would have barely passed at all. “If it had been written in middle school, I’d give it a C or C-plus,” Mason told the Greenville News about the White House letter that was full of redundancies, faulty capitalization, and jumbled prose. She added: “If it had been written in high school, I’d give it a D.” Mason knows that the letter was likely written by a staffer, not Trump himself. Still, she said that it is disappointing to see such poor prose coming from the White House. “When you get letters

The FBI has reportedly obtained wiretaps obtained by Spanish police of a Vladimir Putin ally who met with Donald Trump Jr. at a National Rifle Association convention in 2016. On Friday, Yahoo News reported that Alexander Torshin, a deputy governor of Russia’s Central Bank, was subject of a foreign wiretap and those tapes have been handed over to the federal authorities. José Grinda, who investigates organized crime in Spain told Yahoo News that, “Just a few months ago, the wiretaps of these telephone conversations were given to the FBI.” Grinda was also asked specifically about Trump Jr.’s connection with Torshin. The seasoned organized crimes investigator replied, “Mr. Trump’s son should be concerned.” Speaking to Michael Isikoff, Yahoo’s Chief Investigative Reporter Friday night, MSNBC host Joy Reed asked if Trump Jr’s voice may have been on the tapes turned over to the feds. “No. No. Continue reading "FBI Reportedly Obtained Foreign Wiretaps for Putin Ally Who Met With Trump Jr. at NRA Convention"

Journalist Ronan Farrow‘s articles in The New Yorker helped expose disgraced media mogul Harvey Weinstein‘s sexual misconduct. Yet speaking to CNN’s Jim Sciutto on Friday, Farrow admitted that today, the day of Harvey Weinstein’s arrest, has been a “complicated day.” “I think it is bringing up a lot of emotions that are very powerful and very complicated, but also for every woman who spoke against all of the odds, this is a moment of vindication,” Farrow said. During the interview, Sciutto also played a clip of Weinstein’s lawyer, Benjamin Branfman telling the press, ”Mr. Weinstein did not invent the casting couch in Hollywood. To the extent that there’s bad behavior in that industry, that is not what this is about. Bad behavior is not on trial in this case.” Reacting to Branfman’s comments from earlier in the day, Farrow made it clear that what Weinstein’s behavior Continue reading "Ronan Farrow on Harvey Weinstein’s Arrest: ‘This is a Moment of Vindication’"

President Donald Trump‘s eldest son is unhappy with Instagram. On Friday, Donald Trump Jr. ranted on the social media site that there was something definitely amiss with his following. “For weeks I’ve been watching my #instagram analytics and noticed a crazy drop off in new followers. I used to average around 10,000 + new followers a week and then it just dropped off,” the Trump son kvetched. He also blamed it on a warning that pops up when people search for his name. “Also, see video and pic where a friend searching MY NAME got a message warning that ‘Posts with words or tags you’re searching for often encourage behavior that can cause harm and even lead to death”… REALLY?!?! Are you fricken kidding me?” He then concludes, “This is ridiculous. If this account ‘could cause harm and even lead to death’ we have serious problems. The #shadowban Continue reading "Donald Trump Jr. Blames ‘Crazy Drop-Off’ of Instagram Followers on ‘Shadowban Nonsense’"

Fox News’ Jesse Watters weighed in on Harvey Weinstein‘s arrest on Friday noting that he “enjoyed” seeing the disgraced media mogul finally in cuffs. Speaking with fellow The Five hosts, Watters pointed out that, “This is the guy who started the Me Too movement in the very, very beginning after the avalanche of accusations.” He then added: “I myself enjoyed watching the perp walk today. I was looking forward to it in a weird way just to see him in cuffs.” Then, after noting that he thinks Weinstein may skate because he is so rich, Watters also said he thinks Weinstein is a serious flight risk because, “If this guy is convicted, he is too soft to spend a day in prison.” On Friday, Weinstein turned himself into authorities and was led in front of a gauntlet of photographers for his court appearance to face charges of Continue reading "Jesse Watters Reacts to Harvey Weinstein’s Arrest: He’s ‘Too Soft to Spend a Day in Prison’"
