This year’s Grammy awards were somewhat controversial. When Adele won Album of the Year, her acceptance speech was, in part, about how she thought Beyoncé should have taken home the night’s top honor. Now, Justin Timberlake is weighing in, and he’s got other ideas. He took to Twitter today to say he thinks Frank Ocean should have won for Blonde. Ocean didn’t submit his album for consideration this year and wrote a Tumblr post criticizing the show.

Not everyone agreed with Timberlake. Lots of people were angry…

Rihanna was nominated for a seven Grammy Awards tonight, and even though she didn’t win any of them, we’re pretty sure she had the time of her life tonight. Every time the camera focused on her, it seemed like she was happier than anybody else in the room. Twitter fell in love with her too. She was all of us with her flask:

Adele had a pretty awesome night tonight. She performed twice, and save for one hiccup, she was just as amazing as she’s ever been. She also took home the awards for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year, among others. During her last acceptance speech, for Album of the Year, she stopped to thank Beyoncé who was nominated in the category. “My artist of my life is Beyoncé,” she said. “And this album for me, the Lemonade album is just so monumental, Beyoncé. Metallica Fans Are Angry That The Band Wasn’t Mentioned in the Intro to Their Grammys Performance

It’s not Metallica’s night, and fans of the band are not happy. Not only did lead singer James Hetfield‘s microphone not work during the first moments of the band’s collaboration with Lady Gaga, but Laverne Cox also didn’t mention them when she introduced the performance. She only mentioned Gaga specifically. Fans of the band are angry, and some are suggesting that someone at the Grammys actually has it out for them:

Busta RhymesA Tribe Called Quest and Anderson .Paak gave a politically charged performance at tonight’s Grammy Awards, and called out President Donald Trump. Specifically, they mentioned the Muslim ban. During their set, Busta Rhymes said “I wanna thank President Agent Orange for perpetuating all the evil that you’ve been perpetuating throughout the United States. I wanna thank President Agent Orange for your unsuccessful attempt at the Muslim ban. Now we come together!” At the end of the performance, the group said “Resist” over and over again. Metallica’s James Hetfield Sings Into a Non-Working Microphone During Collaboration With Lady Gaga

The Grammys seem to be having some sound issues tonight. During Metallica‘s collaboration with Lady Gaga, James Hetfield spent a few moments singing into a non-working microphone. Gaga’s mic was working fine, and eventually Hetfield went over and shared with her. Later in the performance, he sang into his own microphone and it worked again. Watch the video above. Beyoncé performed at tonight’s Grammy Awards and people were, not surprisingly insanely excited about it. Before she sang a single note, the Internet sent itself into a tizzy. Tonight, 21 Pilots won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. When Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun got up to accept the award, they took their pants off before walking onstage. During their acceptance speech, they told the story of how they once watched the awards show together and at some point they noticed they were all in their underwear. Joseph said that Josh turned to him and said “If we ever go to the Grammys, if we win a Grammy, we should receive it just like this.” Watch the video above. [image via screen grab]
