Fox News’ Greg Gutfield blasted CNN for cutting away early from President Donald Trump’s Orlando campaign rally, arguing the network isn’t “allowed” to cut away early.
“Once CNN was criticized they turned it off. You are a news network. You are not allowed to turn it off. We can change the channel, but you are a cable news network,” Gutfield said. “They react emotionally to this. … all that is left you can go after his personality and micro-flaws in Tweets.”
Jesse Watters agreed, saying “the media did not treat it the way it would treat a normal president in these times. … They didn’t discuss it seriously.”
The Five mainly had praise for Trump’s designated campaign launch Tuesday night, save Juan Williams who called the rally “boring.”
“It seems to me that my experience of it was so disappointing, it was boring,” he said.
“I heard Continue reading "Greg Gutfeld Goes Off on CNN for Cutting Away From Trump Rally: ‘You’re Not Allowed to Turn It Off!’"
The hosts of Fox News’ The Five today mocked liberals for pushing the “conspiracy” and “delusion” that President Donald Trump would refuse to leave the White House if he loses in 2020.
Bill Maher in particular has expressed this concern, which he reiterated on CNN last week. Greg Gutfeld mocked the “apocalyptic fears” and credited the president for “having some fun” on Twitter:
A poll should be done on which is the more dishonest and deceitful newspaper, the Failing New York Times or the Amazon (lobbyist) Washington Post! They are both a disgrace to our Country, the Enemy of the People, but I just can’t seem to figure out which is worse? The good…..
On Fox News’ The Five Friday, Juan Williams and Jesse Watters tussled over President Donald Trump‘s comments about accepting foreign dirt in 2020 and whether the media’s being hypocritical in its coverage.
Trump has since tried to clarify those remarks and say that he’d “report it to law enforcement absolutely.”
Before getting into that issue, Watters brought up how Kim Kardashian was at the White House for an “excellent event.” Williams laughed a bit and Watters said, “If she was there at the Ibama White House, we’d be reading story after story about what an amazing event this was.”
Williams responded by saying in that case, “I would tune in on the weekend to Watters World and he would mock Obama for having another reality show, being so superficial…”
Williams went on to note Trump’s backpedaling on the foreign dirt issue. Watters countered, “You have still Continue reading "Fox’s Juan Williams and Jesse Watters Clash Over Trump Comments on Foreign Dirt: ‘You’re Having a Fever Dream’"
Fox News’ The Five heavily praised departing White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders following her announcement she is leaving the Donald Trump administration.
“She was one of the trusted advisors of the president. In addition doing the press secretary role, she is somebody who he used as a counselor,” host Dana Perino told Jesse Watters.
“She was in his inner circle, and it speaks to her talent and grace and compassion and intellect. She is going to be really missed because she was a real crusader for the Trump agenda,” Watters said.
Those press conferences, we don’t see them as much as we used to but they can be very, very entertaining and combative,” Watters continued. Perino noted it has been over three months since her last press briefing.
Katie Pavlich also praised Sanders. “Being in the room with Sarah Sanders when she was giving those briefings, it was hot Continue reading "Fox’s The Five Fawns Over Sarah Sanders: She Handled Press Briefings With ‘Grace’"
The crew assembled for Tuesday’s episode of Outnumbered discussed the alleged split between the establishment Democratic candidates (i.e. Joe Biden) and the more progressive part of the party, best represented by Fox News lightning rod Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
The discussion was rooted in comments made by AOC which appeared to criticize Biden’s centrist approach to what sees (and many agree) as a direly urgent climate change problem that the former Vice President is ill-suited to address. AOC co-authored the congressional resolution the Green New Deal which has also been a subject of much ridicule on many conservative opinion programs on Fox News…such as Outnumbered.
As the segment wrapped, the “one lucky guy” Juan Williams defended the freshman Democratic Rep, saying “On AOC very quickly the idea that we are all talking about the Green New Deal, environmental policy…that’s her doing.”
Lisa Boothe jumped in and sniped Continue reading "Fox News’ Dagen McDowell Appears to Take a Nasty Shot at AOC: ‘Beauty Fades, Stupid is Forever’"
The hosts of Fox News’ The Five got heated this afternoon over the multiple Democratic-led House committees investigating and fighting with the White House, issuing subpoenas and threatening to hold more individuals in contempt.
“What is the next subway stop on this crazy train?” Gutfeld said. He asked if Democrats are now at “contempt, let’s arrest everybody,” what’s the next stop.
He said all this fervor is a “circus born from team-sport politics” helped out by the media.
Jesse Watters said the Democrats are now “fee-wheeling sheriffs,” before arguing that the calls for jailing Trump administration officials are alarming and serious, unlike “lock her up!”:
Fox News’ The Five opened this afternoon mocking the New York Times report on ten years of President Donald Trump‘s tax information.
Greg Gutfeld said this isn’t news to anyone and suggested, “Here’s an idea. Get the rich kid who owns the Times to turn over his 1040s.”
He laughed at the media coverage of the Times report and said, “They keep stepping on the same rake and getting whacked in the head again and again. As all those anti-Trump headlines keep falling flat.”
Jesse Watters defended Trump’s business record and took a shot at the Times, bringing up when they “lost a billion dollars buying the Boston Globe.”
“He may have lost a lot of money but now he has towers all over the globe,” Watters said. “He’s got great golf courses, and he has the presidency. Pretty good.”
Juan Williams responded, “I Continue reading "Juan Williams Clashes With Fox Co-Hosts Over Trump’s Finances: ‘He Had His Daddy to Bail Him Out!’"
On Fox News’ The Five today, Juan Williams got heated with Jesse Watters over the issue of white nationalist terror in the U.S. following the horrific synagogue shooting this past weekend.
Dana Perino and Greg Gutfeld noted how there’s been very little reporting on the shooter’s name and how that’s a sign of progress in coverage.
At one point during the discussion, Williams said, “I just can’t believe we’re not talking about white nationalism at this table.”
He said there’s a clear “epidemic of white nationalist terror” in the U.S. and if the attack “was al-Qaeda or ISIS,” the conversation would be very different.
Williams brought up stats on anti-Semitic attacks and said while he wouldn’t point fingers, “you have a situation in which lots of people who are on 8chan and all of these things identify with Trump and do think that they have been unleashed Continue reading "Fox’s Juan Williams, Jesse Watters Clash After Synagogue Shooting: ‘It’s Not All Sides, It’s White Nationalist Terrorism!’"
Juan Williams mixed it up with his colleagues on The Five Wednesday in a heated debate over the prospect of impeachment, and whether or not President Donald Trump has been transparent.
After Jesse Watters argued that any impeachment charges are “not going to stick” because Democrats can’t “name the crime that they are impeaching him for,” Williams promptly named the crime.
“Obstruction of justice,” he said.
“How did he do that?” Watters asked.
Williams replied by stating that Trump told White House counsel Don McGahn to fire Robert Mueller.
From there, a broader evaluation of the Trump presidency ensued.
“How’s the country going so far, Juan?” Greg Gutfeld asked.
“I don’t think [it’s] going so well,” Williams said. He added, “You also say that he’s the most transparent president ever. If he’s so transparent, why is he trying to stop Don McGahn from testifying?”
“Because enough is Continue reading "Juan Williams Battles Five Colleagues in Fiery Debate on Impeachment: ‘All You Can Do is Shout’"
Things got messy on Outnumbered Wednesday as they debated whether President Donald Trump would be facing criminal charges right now if he weren’t in office.
The breakdown happened when the panel discussed Hillary Clinton‘s recent comments that Special Counsel Robert Mueller‘s obstruction of justice findings would’ve resulted in indictments against Trump under a different set of circumstances. As Melissa Francis argued that there was “no hint” of Russian collusion, Fox News liberal contributor Juan Williams retorted with the infamous Trump Tower-Russian lawyer meeting.
“Why did he lie about the Trump Tower meeting? Why is he trying to fire the special counsel?” Williams said. “Not only did he lie about it, he got his son to lie about in terms of what he wrote in that memo explaining the Trump Tower meeting.”

Fox News’ The Five clashed during a segment today on allowing felons to vote, as 2020 Democratic presidential candidates Sens. Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris have recently discussed various forms of felon enfranchisement.
“Bernie wants felons to vote because he knows that they will vote Democrat,” co-host Greg Gutfeld speculated after noting that Sanders wants to allow felons to vote while incarcerated.
Williams then argued for Harris’ plan, which is to reinstate voting rights once a felon is released from prison, saying that if a person “can’t reenter society” after incarceration, then it will result in a “high level of people going back to crime.”
Watters then jumped in with the hottest take of the segment.
“Democrats want terrorists to vote. Think about that one, Greg,” the Watters World host said. “They just handed Donald Trump the wedge-ist of wedge issues. Juan, I have a question. Are Democrats trying Continue reading "The Five Clashes Over Felons Getting Voting Rights: ‘Wow, You Think Willie Horton Is Good News?’"
Fox News host Juan Williams went after President Donald Trump for celebrating the allegations of inappropriate behavior leveled against Joe Biden, reminding the president that he has been accused of much worse.
Biden, the former vice president now weighing a run for the White House, has been accused by multiple women of inappropriate touching. Biden addressed the allegations in a video he put out Wednesday, explaining the touching as an attempt to make a “human connection.”
Williams criticized Biden’s clean up job, calling it “insufficient,” and suggested he address the allegations in an interview. Williams did, however, call out Trump for his own criticism of Biden, given the president himself has faced more than a dozen misconduct allegations, including allegations of sexual assault and harassment.
“President Trump: grabbing women is assault!” Williams said. “What Joe Biden did is just, at best inappropriate. It had nothing to Continue reading "Fox News Host Responds to President’s Criticism of Biden: ‘Trump, Grabbing Women is Assault!’"
As the hosts of Fox News’ The Five talked about the shutdown on day 31, Jesse Watters blamed the media in part for it lasting so long.
He said that reporters should be asking all Democrats if they “believe that we should tear down the existing walls since they are immoral and since they obviously don’t work?”
“You would have the government reopened right now,” Watters continued, “if we had a fair media in the country, because they would be asking these logical questions to Democrats and not protecting the Democratic position, and the intensity would be so strong on Nancy, she would have to come to the negotiating table.”
Juan Williams countered that this isn’t about the media, “it’s about the president and his standing and what he considers to be a political symbol he can’t afford to lose on.”

A Fox News panel on the government shutdown got heated tonight and Juan Williams in particular said that colleague Sean Hannityis one of a few notable conservative voices running the government.
Martha MacCallum spoke with Williams, a liberal co-host of The Five, and Karl Rove about the border wall fight and Nancy Pelosi‘s (D-CA) letter to President Donald Trump about delaying the State of the Union.
Rove blasted Pelosi over the move, saying she’s clearly doing this for political reasons and wants to “humiliate” Trump. “Shame on her,” he added.
Williams said Trump’s the one taking a hard line on this and he clashed with MacCallum over whether Democrats are being hypocrites and on what exactly should happen at the border.
“You’re hung up on whether or not the thing is called a wall,” MacCallum said.
“No no no,” Williams retorted. “He wants a wall that is Continue reading "Fox News’ Juan Williams: Limbaugh, Coulter, and Hannity Are ‘Running This Government!’"
Greg Gutfeld offered a defense of President Donald Trump making policy based on the advice he hears from Fox News and conservative talk radio, claiming such outlets have their “finger on the pulse of America.”
On The FiveJuan Williams criticized Trump for taking cues from talk radio over the shutdown showdown. The president pulled a 180 on wall funding this week after Fox News, Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh loudly protested the short-term funding bill that did not include money for the wall.
“It seems like Donald Trump hears something on Fox News or hears something on talk radio, and that influences his opinion,” Gutfeld said. “You can argue in a way, what he does — and I believe this as somebody who sits here and tries to think about the audience — that what he’s getting a signal from, is what do Americans want.”
“And he Continue reading "Greg Gutfeld Defends Trump Getting Policy Cues From Fox News: We Have ‘Finger on the Pulse of America’"
On The Five Tuesday, a rare concession from Jesse Watters: the pro-Trump host admitted that he would have been apoplectic if former President Barack Obama had bailed on a visit to Arlington National Cemetery on Veterans Day.
Juan Williams made the point on Fox News: “I care as an American that my American president, and no White House official, celebrate veterans on Veterans Day. That’s unbelievable.”
“Imagine if Obama did that?” Williams asked Watters. “If Obama did that, you would have apoplexy.”
“It’s probably true,” Watters conceded. “I will take that point in stride. But I will say at least this president funds the military, unlike the last one.”
Guest host Kennedy dismissed Williams’ comparison.
“Obama didn’t even know the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day,” she declared. “I mean I was always offended by that. This isn’t someone who was beloved by the Continue reading "Jesse Watters Concedes He Would Have Been Apoplectic if Obama Skipped Arlington on Veterans Day"
Fox News’ Jesse Watters erupted on fellow The Five co-host Juan Williams Tuesday over the latter’s defense of the migrant caravan making its way from Central America to the United States.
After Williams criticized “fear-mongering” about the caravan, Watters went off. He noted that Fox News contributor Sara Carter — who writes about the “Deep State” for her own website SaraCarter.com — is down in southern Mexico covering the caravan.
“Sara Carter, one of your colleagues here at Fox News, went down there. You’re not there, she’s down there, she’s a colleague,” Williams said.
Watters claimed that Carter has “confirmed” there are members of the MS-13 gang “among the caravan.” Watters did not cite any of Fox News’s own reporters on the ground covering the caravan.
And then, raising his voice: “If you’re going to sit there and call your colleague a liar, while you’re sitting on your Continue reading "Fox’s Jesse Watters Erupts on Juan Williams For Defending Migrant Caravan: Are You Calling Sara Carter a Liar?!"
The hosts of Fox News’ The Five slammed T.I. today for a video featuring a Melania Trump lookalike stripping in the Oval Office. The First Lady’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham tweeted in favor of boycotting T.I. as a result.
Dana Perino in particular said the First Lady did nothing to deserve that and said first ladies in general should just be off limits.
Jesse Watters then asked, “Why doesn’t Michelle Obama speak up?”
Moments later Juan Williams said this in response:
“To your point about Michelle Obama, just this week we had this case where a woman running for the Senate in Minnesota was found do have said Michelle Obama can’t stand up as straight as a chimp. I mean, gosh. You think about that kind of racist language or don’t forget what happened even around here, we’ve called her baby mama. Remember that kind of stuff?”
Fox News contributor Juan Williams says that there’s pretty much no distinction at this point between his network and President Trump‘s administration.
Williams spoke to Hill TV on Monday, and Krystal Ball got the conversation started when she remarked that the “lines between Fox News and this White House are blurry at best.”
“Blurry?” Williams asked, which prompted Ball to go further and say “they are joined at the hip.” She also remarked on how Fox ends up perpetuating many of the “cultural flashpoint” that end up getting attention in the sociopolitical conversation.
Williams went on to say that he considers it his function at Fox to push back on his conservative-leaning colleagues to generate political conversation.
Ball eventually called Fox a “propaganda network” and asked Williams if he ever expressed concern to the outlet’s higher-ups about the blurred line between them and Trump.
“I don’t Continue reading "Fox News’ Juan Williams: There’s No Real Separation Between Fox and Trump Admin"
Fox News’ Juan Williams went off on Kanye West after co-host Jesse Watters defended him from the Democrats and the media who criticized him after yesterday’s Oval Office spectacle.
Watters said the media is “so upset” because of how influential he is, arguing, “If the black community is open-minded about President Trump, then that poses a real significant threat to Democrats electorally.”
A few minutes later Williams jumped in to point to Trump’s low approval ratings among African-Americans before saying of West, “If he was thinking for himself he would have had some substantive argument to make.”
He brought up all the strange comments West made that “all looked like some guy ranting” before arguing conservatives are being big hypocrites:
